After a lot of deep thought and difficult conversations, my family and I have decided that we need to pause majority of our services, as I need to be more present with my daughter at this critical time in her life and as we hope to expand our family in the near future.

I recognise that this is may feel unexpected, but I want you to know I feel so incredibly blessed by everyone’s support in growing this business and I have loved getting to know each and every one of you. You have welcomed me into your homes and into your families and I couldn’t be more grateful.

In terms of the next steps, I am here to provide support for my existing clients where I can and help in the transition to other veterinary care as we slowly phase down our services over the next few weeks. We will not be taking on any new clients.

Please Note: there is no change for anyone who has appointments already booked in.

This isn’t goodbye forever, just PAWSing for extended Mutt-ternity leave to take care of my family.

We are awFURly busy!

- We are completely booked this coming week, and will be away August 1st and 2nd, but have appointments available from August 8th. We are still only operating on Thursdays and Fridays from 10-4.

- We will be away with family August 20th through the 28th and may be a bit slower at responding to enquiries. Consults will resume as normal on the 29th of August.

- Please take note that over the next few weeks we will be adjusting our prices as we review last financial years statements.
🐾
- We also will be slowly going through all our reminders for each patient and each client one by one to make sure they are up to date. If you receive a notification that your pet is due for something and you believe it is incorrect, please let us know so we can correct it.

- The long awaited Cat Vaccinations should be finally making their return in the next few weeks. I will announce when I have stock available.
🐾
- Any repeat medication orders still need to be given to me by Sunday Night, as I order on Mondays and on a "as-needed" basis and no longer carry surplus stock on hand.

- As always, thank you so much for your loyal support. My business would be nothing without all of my lovely clients and cuddly patients.

This past weekend, River Valley Vets had the honour of attending the South 32 Collie Business Awards. It was great to support and learn about so many local businesses. It was a night filled with good food, laughter, and amazing company.

He has had his first two puppy vaccinations (out of 3) and is microchipped, and now he is just waiting to find his FURever home.

Hippity Hoppity! We are finally back!!

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter Weekend and I appreciate everyones patience while we were away for the last 8 weeks due to covid, then a wedding, and our family visiting from the US to meet little Ella.
BUT we are back and ready to cuddle all your fur babies big and small.

We will be open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 4pm for both old and new clients.

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who has been so helpful during this past week when our baby girl and I have been extremely unwell. I am honestly overwhelmed at the love and support you have all shown us in our time of need.
Special thank you to Ali for the gifts for Ella and for dropping off groceries, and special thank you to Erin for dropping off soup!

Second, our family is arriving from the US and we will be closed to spend as much time with them as possible and will reopen in April.
We will continue to dispense medication refills as required - prepayment for medications will still be required and orders need to be placed with me by MIDNIGHT SUNDAYS.

PAWfect Pup Available!

I have had the absolute pleasure of being this baby girls vet since she was conceived. Her mum and dad are both toy poodles and are of the sweetest nature, and she has taken after them.

She is 4 months old now and really wants to find her forever home, especially now that her two sisters have been sold.
🐾
She is very calm and loving.
I have given her, her entire puppy course of vaccinations and she is microchipped, so she can go out and socialise straight away with her new family.

Mutt-ternity Update!

Thank you to everyone who has sent well wishes to our little family. Everyone's support has been incredible and heartwarming.

I know we have been missed and we do plan on returning, but we would like a few more weeks to continue to adjusting to this new life chapter. So, instead of returning mid-November, we will be easing back into work from December 7th.
We will be open on Thursdays and Fridays for a few hours each day, for existing clients only.

Unfortunately, we are not looking to take on new clients at this stage, but we will again in the future. And please remember we are not an after-hours or emergency service.
