Mutt-ternity Leave is Approaching FAST!

Get in quick as our last few weeks are filling up fast, with our last scheduled day of consulting on Friday August 22nd. We will be spending a few months as a family and we are not planning on returning to consulting until the new year.

We will continue medication orders as long as we can into early September, and then plan to resume by end of October or early November. If your pet is on daily medications, please plan to have an extra months worth on hand to cover while we are away. We will update with any changes along the way.

SURPRISE!

We are excited to announce that Dr. Hill is expecting another baby in September!
We are hoping to keep our doors open for as long as possible and planning on going on mutt-ternity leave from the end of August and re-opening in 2026.

We have not yet cemented a plan for how we will provide medication refills during our leave, but will inform everyone once a final decision has been made. At this time, you may want to consider stocking up before the end of August to get you through at least 2 months of leave so your furry friends don't run out.

In the short term - we will also be closed for consultations from June 25th through the 4th of July due to daycare closures, and will return to consulting on the 9th of July.
There will be no interruption to medications orders and will continue to be placed every Wednesday with deliveries to clients on Fridays.

Reminder we will be closed from Friday April 4th and will reopen on Wednesday April 30th, but we do have about 3-4 consult spaces left for this coming Thursday the 3rd before we leave.

ALERT - NEW TEMPORARY SCHEDULE & PAWLIDAYS!

Hello Everyone -
Firstly - Thank you to everyone for the well wishes last week as our entire household was sick. We are finally on the mend.
🐾
Next, Starting this week (20/2) and over the next few weeks (through 13/3), we will be open WEDNESDAYS and FRIDAYS instead of the Thursdays, due to care availability for Ella.
She isn't quite ready to be my little vet assistant just yet, and unfortunately cannot come with me to work so we have to adjust.
We will be back to regular Thursdays and Fridays on March 20th.

We will also be going away to South Australia for a wedding in April and will be away for three weeks from April 7th to the 27th.
🐾 🐾 NO DRUG ORDERS WILL BE PLACED DURING THIS TIME 🐾🐾
The last Wednesday to order medications will be April 2nd and then will be available again on April 30th.

HOWL-O 2025!

We are excited to announce we will be trialling new open days this year!
🐾
Starting next week we will reopen on Thursdays and Fridays from 10-330.
We will only be able to take phone calls on those days, but if you leave a voicemail or send a text we will do our best to answer when we can.

We will also be trialling a change of medication ordering days to better align with our working hours - orders will now be placed on Wednesdays at midday each week, and medications will be delivered to your letterboxes by the Friday.
Please remember that prepayment is REQUIRED before we will place your order.

Any medication that needs refilling before Christmas needs to be requested by this TUESDAY THE 17TH! Our last order will be placed on Wednesday the 18th and our next order wont be until Monday January 6th.

SERESTO SALE!

Unfortunately, I have had someone order in this flea and tick collar but no longer wants it.
It is good for Kittens (over 10 weeks old) and Cats.
It lasts for 8 months and is water resistant.
Really helpful for cats suffering from flea allergy dermatitis
It doesn't expire until Nov 2026 as long as packaging remains sealed.

I am selling for COST PRICE of $67.50 as I do not need the stock sitting going to waste as its not something I generally stock.

Moving forward all medication orders will require 100% Prepayment.
Orders and payments need to be to me by Sunday nights to get delivery of medications on Wednesdays.

After a lot of deep thought and difficult conversations, my family and I have decided that we need to pause majority of our services, as I need to be more present with my daughter at this critical time in her life and as we hope to expand our family in the near future.

I recognise that this is may feel unexpected, but I want you to know I feel so incredibly blessed by everyone’s support in growing this business and I have loved getting to know each and every one of you. You have welcomed me into your homes and into your families and I couldn’t be more grateful.

In terms of the next steps, I am here to provide support for my existing clients where I can and help in the transition to other veterinary care as we slowly phase down our services over the next few weeks. We will not be taking on any new clients.

Please Note: there is no change for anyone who has appointments already booked in.

This isn’t goodbye forever, just PAWSing for extended Mutt-ternity leave to take care of my family.

We are awFURly busy!

- We are completely booked this coming week, and will be away August 1st and 2nd, but have appointments available from August 8th. We are still only operating on Thursdays and Fridays from 10-4.

- We will be away with family August 20th through the 28th and may be a bit slower at responding to enquiries. Consults will resume as normal on the 29th of August.

- Please take note that over the next few weeks we will be adjusting our prices as we review last financial years statements.
🐾
- We also will be slowly going through all our reminders for each patient and each client one by one to make sure they are up to date. If you receive a notification that your pet is due for something and you believe it is incorrect, please let us know so we can correct it.

- The long awaited Cat Vaccinations should be finally making their return in the next few weeks. I will announce when I have stock available.
🐾
- Any repeat medication orders still need to be given to me by Sunday Night, as I order on Mondays and on a "as-needed" basis and no longer carry surplus stock on hand.

- As always, thank you so much for your loyal support. My business would be nothing without all of my lovely clients and cuddly patients.
