Position Vacant – Trainee Dog Groomer
Do you want to get paid to pamper doggies all day?
The Pampered Pup Salon in Collie is looking for a Trainee Dog Groomer to join their busy salon, starting at 15 hours per week while training. Full-time and Part-time hours available after training. Operating days are Tuesday to Saturday.
The Pampered Pup Salon is a holistic grooming salon. We use natural and skin sensitive products and offer a loving and caring experience for all dogs and their owners. The salon has been operating for over 7 years, with the past 2 and a half years in Collie.
A little bit about our ideal candidate:
Experience is not necessary, but a willingness to learn and a love for dogs is essential
Must be reliable
Confident around dogs
Has excellent time management skills and can think on their feet
Physically fit as the job involves lifting and standing all day
A team player
Duties include:
Bathing, drying and brushing
Nail clipping and grinding
Cleaning the salon
Customer service
Learning to clip and scissor different dog breeds
