As a follow up post to our benefits of apples for your pupper, here's some more potential benefits from some of our ingredients we use in our products..

Carob

Carob is a dog-safe alternative to chocolate that has a similar taste and appearance. Carob is rich in dietary fiber, antioxidants, calcium, magnesium, iron, and other beneficial nutrients. Carob can help improve skin and coat health, reduce inflammation, lower cholesterol levels, and support digestive and heart health.

Oats

Oats are a great source of complex carbohydrates, fiber, protein, and minerals for dogs. Oats can help promote skin health, support digestion, lower cholesterol levels, and provide energy. Oats are also low in gluten and can be suitable for dogs with wheat allergies.

Flaxseeds and Flaxseed Oil

Flaxseeds and flaxseed oil are rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are essential for dogs’ health. Flaxseeds and flaxseed oil can help reduce itching and dry skin, improve coat quality, decrease inflammation, enhance brain and joint function, and regulate blood pressure and kidney function.

Yoghurt

Yoghurt is a dairy product that contains probiotics, calcium, protein, and vitamins. Yoghurt can help improve the balance of good bacteria in the gut, boost the immune system, prevent infections, and support bone and dental health. However, yoghurt should be plain, low-fat, and unsweetened, and given in moderation to dogs, as some dogs may be lactose intolerant or sensitive to dairy.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin is a nutritious vegetable that is high in fiber, beta-carotene, vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, and other minerals. Pumpkin can help regulate bowel movements, prevent constipation or diarrhea, reduce inflammation, support eye health, and strengthen the immune system. Pumpkin can also help with weight management, as it is low in calories and can make dogs feel full.

Apples are a fantastic addition to your dog's diet; they provide vitamin A, vitamin C, antioxidants and dietary fibre. Apple cider vinegar has endless benefits to your pooch and pony, including aiding digestion and skin conditions, as well as acting as a natural preservative.
