Veterinary services at the Bash events for 2022

Reminder Pet Owners!

With only 20 days to go until the BRB we’d like to remind you to ensure your pet’s vaccinations are up to date and if they are on medication, you have enough supply for the travel and duration of the event.

There will be approximately 700 dogs at this event and may be a little overwhelming for some - especially if they are not used to travel, noise or large crowds. If you can pack some comfort items for your fur babies such as their favourite toys, blankets, coats etc from home, this will help to keep them comfortable.

We will be on-site if you are concerned about stress/anxiety (or anything else) and will have limited medications to assist in case of an emergency. We will also be available for consultations, vaccinations & nail clips and will be stocking a range of Kong dog toys & treats, plus you can enter our lucky Braveto draw with a purchase.

Drop by to the vet tent on the plaza and say hi. We cannot wait to see you and your pets at this amazing event!

Who’s excited for the 2023 BRB? We are!
Here are some highlights from 2022. What a beautiful time it was to visit outback QLD with the fur babies, meet up with friends and get your groove on!

We’re on the road again! Thanks to Kerry at the Merriwa Caravan Park for your recommendation of Tyrepower Scone who found a vacuum leak on the turbo. So grateful to be able to continue our journey with only a 140km detour and one day behind. Look out Bashville, here we come!

A MESSAGE FROM OUR BASHVILLE VETS 🏥

Hi everyone, we are excited to be providing the emergency veterinary services for your dogs at the 2022 Big Red Bash.

Just a few things to remind people before coming out to the festival, that may be helpful:
1️⃣ All dogs should be currently vaccinated to prevent any outbreaks of Parvovirus or Canine Cough at the event.
2️⃣ Remember to bring sufficient current medication for your dog/s.
3️⃣ Try to bring a copy of your dog’s medical history in case we need to provide treatment.
4️⃣ Bring protective boots & coats for your dog if needed.
5️⃣ Keep your dog’s diet as usual (minimise changes) to avoid gastric upsets, as this can be a real inconvenience!

We will be on-site for any assistance that you may require, but please understand that due to the remote location we are limited as to our normal range of veterinary services & supplies.
