Good morning lovely people.
It is with great sadness that I let you all know that I will no longer be operating Clip, Dip & Snip Pet Grooming as of Thursday the 4th April as I am moving back to Victoria.
I have loved each and every pupper and kitty that has come through my doors and will miss all my lovely and loyal clients.
It is very hard and sad for me to do this as I have worked so hard for this business, but I have to do what is best for me and family.
Please let me know if you need help finding another groomer as I am happy to reccomend local groomers in the area.
Thank you all for being so understanding and sticking by me all these years.
Bookings are still available between 11/3 - 4/5

As a stay at home mum who runs her own business, it is very hard for me mentally and financially when people choose not to show up or cancel last minute.
To protect myself and my business, I have had to introduce this new policy. A policy I wish I didn't have to.
Now I am a fair and understanding woman, having 2 little ones myself I know that emergencies can come up in a blink of an eye. If this is the case for you, please let me know as I can't help without communication.

🐾🐶 This is Frankie.
Frankie gets a full groom, but he doesn't get it all done in one sitting......and here's why;
Poor Frankie is the sweetest boy but get very nervous and scared when the blow dryer come out. So we wash and dry as much as he's comfortable with and then send him home. He'll come back within the next few days for his clip. It keeps the stress levels down and the risk factor down as well.
Sometimes doing your pets groom in more than 1 sitting is what's best and most safe.
Your pets health and safety always comes first 💕
Keep an eye out for the second half of his groom in the next couple days. 🐶🐾

Starting in 2024, I will be offering pet safe colouring!
More about this service will be announced closer to 2024!
But for now.......I am looking for a model to test out this 'strawberry red' colour on. The perfect colour for christmas 🎄 ❣️
Light/white coloured cat/dog would work best.
This colour service will be FREE as I am just practising and getting it out there, if your pet is getting a groom/tidy up/bath as well, you will still have to pay for that service.

Yesterday I competed at .
What an amazing day and experience! Unfortunately we didn't place but I received some great feedback from the judges (Kenny Leakan & Lisa Leady) that I'll be working on !

A big congratulations to everyone who placed yesterday.
Everyone's dogs looked amazing! They were all very inspiring ❤️

🐕 MATTING🐕
** In no way is this post aimed at any individual, matting can easily happen to anyone's pet and this is a post to educate pet parents. You don't know something unless you're educated on the matter.**
Is your pet matted? or on the verge of it happening ?
Don't be ashamed to tell your groomer how matted your pet is, life happens and we get that. We do not judge, we are here to help!
Matting is painful, it pulls on their delicate skin, making it hurt to walk/sit/go to the toilet. In some extreme cases (I have not had to deal with one thankfully) server matting can cut off your pets circulation, resulting is loss of limbs and can also lead to hematomas (mostly on the ears- due to the return of bloodflow and your pet shaking their heads).
Matting also increases risk of infections, skin issues and sometimes behavioral issues down the track.
Not only all this, but when you bring georgeous fluffy in for their next groom, it will be painful and uncomfortable for them as we shave off the matting from their sore delicate skin making it a very unpleasant experience for them.
We want all pets to see grooming as a pleasurable part of life so they are happy and safe while being groomed.
If you want to keep fluffy long through winter, I'd reccomemded booking every 4-6 weeks, it doesn't have to be for a full groom, even a bath and blow dry or tidy up will help maintain their skin and coat.

What an amazing day!
