Lisa McCann Herbs was established in 1995 and is located in the Noosa Heads hinterland on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. The business is built on the premise that feeding naturally is best and only supplies quality, fresh ingredients. There are no bags of ready made orders sitting on shelves - every individual purchase is made to order and dispatched daily with friendly prompt service and at very competitive prices. We stock a large range of natural blends, herbs, supplements and skincare to remedy some problems or simply maintain health and wellbeing. We do not use, or stock any products that involve animal testing or cruelty in any way. All our products are natural to ensure your horse is happy and healthy without using harsh chemicals, synthetic supplements or drugs. Lisa and Billy originated from inner city Melbourne - just 10 minutes from town. In 1992 they moved to a 36 acre property in Tinbeerwah on the Sunshine Coast. Lisa's first priority was for her and Billy to have horses. (Billy didn't ride!!) They bought two, and of course the number grew. One horse had Queensland itch, and no potions or lotions seemed to help. They were advised by a friend to add Garlic to the feed. After a few weeks, some positive changes started to take place. Well, the rest was history - a business was born. Lisa's step-father was a large distributor of grains, herbs & spices, so that was not only advantageous for the attainment of knowledge, but also the security of an on going supply. The business has grown with buyer knowledge and demand. Lisa competed for many years, and is very aware of the requirements of horses, whether they are retired ponies that were bred on the farm - competition horses - or the full spectrum in between. In 2001 they moved to a 54 acre property in Cooroy, which is situated in the Noosa Hinterland. At the moment they have three horses - Rudy (retired) Matrix and Rico. They also have 2 dogs - Zen & Becky and a cat called KitKat. Thank you for looking at a more natural way of nurturing your animals.
