Reminder to make sure your pets are up to date with tick prevention! 🐶❤️🐾

7 paralysis ticks found on 1 pet at SASH North Ryde this past week.
1 unfed, 5 partially fed, 1 fully engorged.
This pet was one of many patients presenting with signs of tick paralysis.

Paralysis ticks are deadly to pets.

Although a risk year round, as the warmer weather returns, the number of pets affected by paralysis ticks sky rockets.

Is your pet up-to-date with parasite prevention? Speak to your local vet about the best option based on your pets circumstances. In-conjunction with parasite prevention, remember to perform daily tick searches over your pet by, by running your fingers gently through their fur, from their head to their tail.

Signs of tick paralysis include weakness, incoordination, collapse, vomiting, retching, breathing difficulty and/or change in bark or meow.

CCC walkies crew 12-16 August ❤️🐾🐕 we had super dreary weather but we all got out and had fun anyway! 😊🐶 My week was made when we ran into Ziggy on the beach this afternoon! He’s been through a lot lately so this was his first time back running free for ages and he had a big swim too! 💙

Just had our 2nd visit at home from Di Wallace at Naturopathic Canine Care 🐾🩷🐕 My Loki is having a pretty bad episode of the wobbles due to cervical disc disease and has severe arthritis as a result. Di has provided BIOPTRON light therapy, massage and a whole lot of personal support to me and Loki this week and I can’t thank her enough! Definitely seen a big improvement each day in Lokis walking, he’s much straighter now, loving his massages and able to toilet all on his own again! Exciting News! We've Expanded to Two Locations! 🐾
We are thrilled to announce that Ocean Paws Dog Training is now serving the Central Coast and Maitland! 🎉

For all our existing Central Coast clients, our Baby Puppy and Senior Puppy classes will recommence at the East Gosford Scout Hall, East Gosford from the 24th of July. Please help me to welcome our newest instructor to the team, Amy Cole. Amy brings with her a wealth of experience and will be looking after the Wednesday night classes on the coast. 🐶📚

For our wonderful Central Coast clients, I (Penny) will continue to offer behaviour consults and training packages in the comfort of your home. 🌟🏠

Next group class starts July 1st at Terrigal 🐾 All dogs over 16 weeks of age, payments plans available. I teach loose lead walking, recall, stay and the basics, attention and calming behaviours, tricks and some fun agility at graduation day 🐕 I love teaching this class and seeing everyone’s progress so come along and have some fun with us! ❤️ Amy 🐶

Happiest of Happy Birthdays to my best mate Loki who turned 11 today!! 💙🐾 we made it to the beach before the rain (just!) and came home for a chicken schnitzel and cheese (of course) special birthday dinner!
