All the single ladies 🎵 I tried these four individually owned Guinea pigs together in a big lawn run for grass time this morning and they spent approximately 30 seconds working out that no-one was a threat and got on with grazing rather happily together. Very sweet. Pictured is Tulip, Fizzy, Pearl and Teddy.

Treat your Guinea pigs with a feed fresh from your garden. With a bit of rain it doesn’t take long for the grass, sow thistle, chickweed and dandelion to come up in even the most well weeded gardens. I believe lots of grass is the key to cavy’s optimum health and long life. Of course be confident that you know your weeds and the area hasn’t been sprayed.

My beautiful old girl Bernadette passed her stone! She has been on pain relief and antibiotics but doing ok, under observation, until tonight I saw it was literally stuck in the end of her urethra and with a warm bath it easily came out. She looked rather unconcerned and enjoyed a treat after her photo. Love this old girl. Thankfully with females it can sometimes find its way out naturally .. may be more but for now she’s ok and boy that must feel a whole lot better.
