I have two fur babies of my own: Hazel, a very cheeky lab x cavalier x poodle, and Luna, a beautiful black labrador. I've been working with Pauline Gill and Peter Levett at Tapua Labrador Retrievers for years now and it became clear to me that sometimes people need a little extra help when caring for their four-legged friends, especially those involved in breeding and showing as they often have to

travel and it can be hard to find someone they can trust to look after their dogs and cats while they're away. If you're in this situation and live within NSW, give me a call I'm happy to travel! I also offer local services in the Cowra area such as dog walking and basic pet sitting.

A Luna appreciation post! Things I love about Luna the Lunatic Labrador (aka Tapua Dark Moon Rising):
- those jowls, so big, they hold so much water, they get caught on her teeth, they are just next level amazing
- the way she drinks by putting her whole snout in the water then spreading that water everywhere (see point above)
- she has no appreciation for her size… she is the size of a chihuahua according to her and will cuddle as such
- she is a retrieving machine and will retrieve most things but her one true love is balls
- her love of deep pressure pats is all consuming and she will rub against you like a cat to fulfil that need

My girlie gang is back together! Due to a cancellation I’m getting a bit of time off at home with my beautiful girls, Hazel and Luna. Since May I’ve had about 6 or 7 days at home, usually just a day at a time, so I’ve got a lot of catching up to do - my house is a hot mess, the garden needs some attention, the lawn needs some help, I need to do some batch cooking and my girls need some mum cuddles!

Let me introduce Sasha, Amber and Emma, three gorgeous cobberdogs I’m looking after up here in Killabakh near Wingham! These girls make up three generations of a breeding program for this breed in development. Cobberdogs are being developed as a breed for their particular suitability as therapy dogs - they are people focussed, give sustained eye contact and are very sensitive to changes in their surroundings. It’s wonderful to be a tiny part of this, even if it’s just pet sitting!

My girl Hazel is with me in Orange. Impractical as it is, I actually love when her coat grows out and she looks like a wookie - but it won’t be for much longer as she’s getting a good clip soon, so had to capture the chaos while it lasts!

Miss Winnie, isn’t she a delight?! Winnie likes to take a mouthful of toys before she goes to sleep at night, and here she is showing me her haul. I’m back in Orange with Winnie and her sister Holly, and Hazel has also come to hang out. I love these girls!

Two lovely clean and fluffy pups! Poppins and Poe went for a spa day today with in Gulgong today! Don’t they look amazing?! Thanks to Tish and Norman for making them look and smell so beautiful!

Having a coffee with my new friend Poppins, a very sweet Maltese x Shih Tzu that I’m looking after, along with her big bro Poe, in Mudgee for the next few weeks. Look at that gorgeous face! Is she not divine??

Well I had my 7 yearly holiday and now it’s back to work! Hazel and I came to Orange to hang out with our Goldie friends Winnie and Holly! These are just the sweetest and funniest girls and Hazel always loves hanging out with Winnie in particular. Should be a fun couple of weeks!
