Urgently needing a home ASAP

Chocolate Breed: unknown Age: unknown Colour: dark brown with 4 white socks Bought from Echuca sale yard in January 2015 Height: approximately 15hh Chocolate is unhandled but she is not difficult to deal with. She is fearful of humans but not vicious in any way. Chocolate is a lesson in patience - It was 3 years before she let me scratch her withers!! Now she loves a scratch and a brush but always on her terms. Bum scratch is her favourite. Chocolate is not float trained but knows what to do on truck transport. She was trucked down from Echuca and the transport people said she just knew what to do. Cookie Son of Chocolate. Arrived with her from Echuca in January 2015. At the time he was approximately 2 months old. Age: 9 Height: approximately 14hh Breed: unknown but has faded Appaloosa colouring. He was chestnut with white rump until his first winter. Cookie has had basic ground work training over the years. He is always eager to do something and always the first one at the gate, ready for action. Cookie is easy to catch, extremely gentle and never pulls. He has float loaded but we did not get to take him for a ride. Cookie has lived his best life here and it shows in his quiet behaviour. Peanut Breed: Shetland Age: 27 Colour: chestnut Height: 9hh Bought from family in Nar Nar Goon in 2014 Peanut is a leading pony. He is headstrong and cheeky. He loves green grass but green grass does not like him. He can suffer from laminitis and needs attention in Spring and Summer. Peanut and Cookie are best friends and love chasing each other around the paddock Peanut is easy to do anything with, catch, float, trim, treat.

Hi horsey people. Due to catering if you are planning on attending this unique seminar then please register so I can make sure you are well fed and watered!
Registrations close on Friday 26th April so please contact Suzanne and register your attendance as there is a limit to the number of horses and spectators we can cater. Attendance will be confirmed after payment and there will be no opportunity to register on the day.
A reminder that this is a unique event discussing the very specialist areas of trauma and adverse life experiences. Suzanne is a highly trained exceptional and intuitive horse woman, Kristen - a very experienced and knowledgable Body Worker and me, a Trauma Specialist (humans). We will all be presenting and there will be a number of demonstrations and hands on work. .
This is a friendly, interactive experience so there will be plenty of time for Q&A's.

Beautiful 5 year old 16’1hh gelding finished racing April of 2023. Come to me at the start of June 2023 very skinny so a lot of time and effort has gone into getting him to where he is now. Only looking for a new 🏠 as I’m finding myself a bit time poor at the moment with two other horses in work. No vices that I know of. Up to date with teeth, farrier, worming and body work. A great exercise that can be done in-hand or ridden to stimulate the thoracic sling muscles.

Make sure you repeat this exercise on both reins.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁
Place 5 poles end to end and raise them up a little (this makes the more stable and less likely to roll if your horse knocks them)
Walk your horse so he steps across the pole sideways and then back again - in an 'S' shape
Your horse should step over the pole with his leg closest to the pole first

🐴 Recruitment of the core muscles

Hi, I'm Teela. I'm a sweet, fun-loving girl. I'm very soft at heart and I'm looking for someone to let me into their heart! I'm a very clever girl and have mastered those words my foster mum uses like sit, stay, drop, shake a paw, I sit before crossing the street and I wait before I'm allowed to eat. I'm always keen to learn more (plus I get treats and I really love that!)

My favourite thing is to be around people. I have a gentle nature and always love to greet and inspect visitors anytime I can. I live with 2 boys at the moment, they are 8 and 11 years old. I enjoy following them around to see what stuff they are playing with. I think I probably need kids in my new home who are a bit dog savvy because sometimes I get super excited when everyone is playing and forget that I have 4 feet and they need to stay on the ground.

I'm still only young and I just forget these things sometimes. I get left alone for short periods of time inside but I would much rather have someone around during the day and we can keep each other company and go on walks.

Saskia is a rising 9 year old thoroughbred mare available as a companion only as she displays dangerous behaviour under saddle. She gets along well with all our horses and is a very sweet cuddly horse that love’s attention. She’s an easy keeper and maintains weight on grass and hay (she did lose a bit of weight recently as she was only in small paddock and the grass wasn’t very good but is putting it back on since shes come home). Have had issues with her feet as we live on wet flats and the muddy wet ground, but when we've moved her to sand or dry land there's been no issues. She was brought in 2020 green broken but because of her behaviour hasn’t done much since
