One more sleep… see you all soon
Quality Poll Dorset Rams. Annual on farm sale. We are a Poll Dorset Stud located in Crowther between Young and Cowra NSW.
(1)
Rowallan has been established for over 50 years and we look forward to providing quality rams well into the future. We use natural joining as well as AI to get the best genetics possible. We have also over the years purchased ewes from other well known studs to help improve those genetics. We use Lambplan to get ASBV figures and those figures are as accurate as possible. We also like to combine th
is with visually appealling rams. Rams with excellent figures are great as are rams that are great to look at but when they combine it can mean extra dollars in your back pocket and who doesn't want that.

So impressed with the results they received from some recently purchased Rowallan offspring Dean and Natalie Harrington now willingly source our genetics as a priority. See Dean’s endorsement in this video. We love hearing feedback
T-minus 8 days until the sale. What a cracking day of weather it is looking to be. We can’t think of a better way to spend it then heading out to Crowther, enjoying a lamb and gravy roll and taking home a ram or two.
Of course, if you can’t make it you will be able to keep track of the action and bid online via AuctionsPlus (link below) from wherever you are.
We can’t wait to see you!

I think I’ve found my new calling. Not as a videographer but flying a crop duster. How much fun would that be, zipping and scooting around all the obstacles…
If we can take anything from this video it’s that you are never too big to be a child at heart. And that air kicks are cool… We should all be doing more air kicks. We watched this ewe either chasing or following these lambs the other day but weren’t fast enough to get it on video. Turns out she’s just having a blast at life. I’m off to chase some lambs and do awesome air kicks.
Hoeing thistles is not a job I find particularly dangerous. Until today. I have never swung the hoe into a small group of around 3 quite small thistles before and had a brown snake pop out. I think I frightened him as much as he frightened me. I’m not really bothered by snakes it was just that I was not expecting to see a snake jump out and how I didn’t cut him in half I’m not entirely sure. He then went on his way and I went on mine. I think I’ll be asking the boss for some danger money from now on.
I guess this is where ‘bull’ dozer comes from.... Mr Fuey sure has some attitude going on. Wombat Hills Simmentals
I forgot to post these on Monday. The Sunday night after Bathurst is usually busier but I didn’t take a video. This was Monday mid morning and the traffic is still streaming past. Campers and caravans galore.
The natural instincts of mums and babies is such an amazing thing to me. I nearly went a different way home this arvo but I’m so glad I chose this direction so I got to see this little one. I really just wanted to jump the fence and help it up, it was trying so hard. Sorry about the wind noise I didn’t realise it was that windy where I was. It’s still probably better than the singing you would have got if my phone hadn’t turned my music off to take the videos.
