Youngstar Marnies Storm - Another one of the nine (9) horses that we are starting in drafts this year - 3 of these are being started by Bailey Young. Storm is 15.2hh - Marnies Destiny x Boonara Java (Kyabra Cattle Baron). Storm is mustering with Bailey and had her first start at Winton a few weeks ago - 88, 86, 86, 85. Good work Bailey. Storm is a full sister to Marnies Arrow (photo below of Arrow winning Burrandowan Maiden 21).

We were running short of horses a few weekends ago, so I threw Hy Diamond on the truck. 21-year-old mare that hasn't been ridden in 5 years and ran an 89. We have just started one of her progeny - a very athletic 3-year-old gelding (see photos) - Youngstar Dukes Commander - By Youngstar Marnies Duke (full brother to Glamour). He's a cracker. His bloodlines include - Marnies Destiny, 2 x crosses Acres Destiny, Docs Boab, 4 crosses of Jessie James, Nonda Hula Hoop, Star Black Minstril and Southern Oak.

Started trotting Debonaire again today after weaning a foal. Had to loosen the girth a bit as you can see in one of the photos. Hasn't been ridden since doing well at Willinga Park with Will last year. Can't wait to get back on her. Drafting photo is one of her last drafts before turning her out - scored 89. Keep an eye out for her c**t foal by Marnies Destiny - broken in this year.

This year we have been very busy and having a big year at Youngstar Stud. We have 5 x old horses on the truck, 6 x breakers in work, 6 to start in drafts this year and 5 x 3-year old's that we are getting ready for next year. Bailey Young is also starting 3 new ones in drafts this year. We been doing plenty of miles and it's very exciting. Claudia Fox has put in a huge effort and has recently started Youngstar Marnies Valentine - Marnies Destiny x Malua Eva (Conman x Romeo mare). Valentine is a full sister to Marnies Tax Man that won at Ban Ban Springs Campdraft on the weekend. Claudia and Valentine have only had a few starts - 85 on her first start, they have scored in nearly every start since and ran an 88 last weekend. Congrats and thanks Claudia.
