Good evening all π
It's worrying me seeing a few hoof care professionals not addressing seedy toe or cracks at all. Please as owners make sure your hoof care professional is dealing with this and properly. I'm getting calls out lately to horses where the seedy toe.and or cracks havn't been addressed, and owners have asked their farriers what's that with a no it's nothing response.
Seedy toe can be bad and with this damp weather take off like wild fire if seedy toe gets bad enough it's possible your horse could end up with a bone infectionand that will not end well. I'm always happy to explain about seedy toe and or anything that I address re their hooves. I feel it's very important for owners to take some interest in learning about their horses hooves i always encourage it as we should always further our knowledge to improve our horses health. I do hope to run some information days down the track to help people π
