Dear Clients, We have a heartwarming story to share ❤️

Meet Peppy, a spirited furry friend who recently gave us quite the scare. A few days ago, Peppy was brought into our clinic after he had ingested some rocks, which he then partially vomited. His behavior changed; he wasn't his usual playful self and began panting, which prompted his dedicated owner to bring him in immediately!

Upon arrival, our veterinary team sprang into action and performed an x-ray, which confirmed our fears! Several stones were still lurking inside. Understanding the situation's urgency, our team performed a gastrotomy surgery to remove the rocks.
The surgery went smoothly, and we are thrilled to report that we successfully removed FIVE stones from Peppy's stomach! Thanks to the prompt actions of his owner and the expertise of our dedicated veterinary team, Peppy is now out of danger and has made a fantastic recovery. He's back to being the happy and energetic Peppy we all know and love 😍🙂

Today, Peppy came in for a post-surgery checkup, and seeing him bounding around, you would never know he had such a close call. The Stud Road Vet team was overjoyed seeing our happy Peppy bounce back so well! ❤️❤️

We want to give a big shout-out to Peppy's owner, who didn't hesitate to bring him in👍

Hoppy Easter from Stud Road Veterinary Clinic 🐰

We will be closed from March 29th and will reopen on April 2nd, resuming our regular opening hours.

As we welcome the long Easter weekend filled with joy and celebration, let's not forget about our furry friends! While you're indulging in Easter treats, remember that some goodies, like chocolate, can pose serious risks to our pets!

Chocolate toxicity is a real concern during this holiday, as the sweet aroma of chocolate eggs and treats tempts many pets. If your pet accidentally ingests chocolate, it's crucial to act quickly. Watch out for symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, rapid breathing, increased heart rate, and even seizures.

If you suspect your pet has ingested chocolate or displays any of these signs, please immediately contact the nearest emergency veterinary centre for assistance.

Halloween Reminder: Keep Your Pets Safe!
Dear Clients, we all know that Halloween means tons of chocolates and candies. While these sweet treats are delicious for us, they can be extremely harmful to our pets.
Here are a few tips to ensure your pets have a safe and happy Halloween:
1. Secure Your Stash: Make sure all candy, especially chocolate, is stored far out of reach from your pets. Don't forget those sneaky paws and curious noses!
2. Costume Caution: If your pets dress up, ensure their costumes don't restrict movement, visibility, or breathing. Keep an eye out for small parts they could chew on.
3. Safe Space: Your pets might get stressed with all the doorbell ringing and trick-or-treaters. Consider creating a safe, quiet space where they can relax.
4. Walk Time: If you take your dog for a Halloween walk, keep them on a short leash and away from any candy wrappers that might be on the ground.
5. Pet-Friendly Treats: If you want your pets to join in the fun, offer them pet-friendly Halloween treats. There are plenty of options available in pet stores.

We're thrilled to announce that puppies Rocco, Teddy, Boo, and Milo have officially graduated from our puppy training school! 🐶🎉
Over the past few weeks of training, they have worked hard, learned new tricks, and grown into well-behaved and obedient pups. It's been an incredible journey filled with many tail-wagging moments with these gorgeous puppies🐕❤️
We're looking forward to many more adventures with our well-trained fur babies. 🌟 From now on, they will be strutting around with that graduation cap on! 🎓😍
