Helena Pygmy Goats will have a small display of cute little goats🐐🩷 Including baby Buttercup, Munchkin & Marley!!

This kidding unfortunately was not a text book one, instead a huge learning experience. I was not home but thanks to my dad and awesome neighbour Jason Blackshaw, plus Sandra’s advice, we have 2 healthy kids.

Both kids were positioned weirdly, meaning assistance was needed. Bit of DIY with some shoe laces as a pulling device and they were out.

They will be looking for a new home in the coming months👀🏡

My clever dad has made up a heap of these milking stands. They make life so much easier when it comes to handling Goat/Sheep> drenching, vaccinating, feet trimming… allows you to do everything by yourself, stress free!

I have always been a huge sucker for coloured/oddly patterned goats so when Melody delivered this lovely single doe I was so chuffed. Introducing….

Melody was the last goat too kid making my total 3 doe kids out of 3 mums! I now have a couple of months to enjoy these little loves before my second round of kidding commences mid October.

Very happy with the outcome of these past couple of weeks, excluding the premature baby, as it ran very smoothly and no assistance was required from me unlike other years.

First time mum Helena Coral delivered a little ahead of schedule and therefore isn’t producing any milk. Auggie has taken to the bottle like a champ despite her slow start🍼

Pictures do not show how small she really is. She weighs 835g😱
