A huge congratulations to our puppies on graduating puppy school! We’re so proud of their hard work and progress.

This round, we had the pleasure of working with an amazing group of dogs; Star the gorgeous Aussie Shepherd, Maverick L the cute little Spoodle, Pablo the most handsome Chihuahua, and Maverick J the big beautiful Wolfhound x Bull Arab.

Each one brought their own unique personality to the class, and it’s been such a joy watching them grow, learn, and have fun!

🎄Christmas Safety Reminder for Your Pets🎄

The holiday season is a time for joy, but it’s also important to keep our furry friends safe! Some common Christmas foods can be dangerous for pets, so let’s keep them happy and healthy by being cautious.

🚫 Foods to Avoid:
- Chocolate (toxic)
- Ham & fatty meats (can cause pancreatitis)
- Onions, garlic & chives (toxic)
- Grapes & raisins (can lead to kidney
failure)
- Avocados (can cause gastro upsets/ can lead to intestinal blockages if pit is consumed)
- Alcohol (even small amounts can be harmful)
- Bones (can splinter and cause blockages or injuries)

🛑 Tips:
• Keep food out of reach.
• Remind guests not to feed your pets.
• Have pet-safe treats on hand for them to enjoy!

🚨🐾 Meet Boss! PD Boss is a three-year-old German Shepherd, who’s part of an operational Patrol Dog team with Senior Constable Daniel Leighton.
PD Boss was selected by NT Police from Queensland Police’s breeding program in 2023 and has been a key asset to serving and protecting the community ever since.

In recently with us for dental work and a full check up, Boss is ready to continue his important work, protecting and serving his community and being the best boy around! 🥰

🌟 Patient of the Week: Harley 🌟

Say hello to Harley, our brave 14-year-old Chihuahua cross! 🐾💖

This little superstar recently spent a few days in the hospital, showing us just how strong and resilient she is. Thanks to her determination and the loving care of her amazing mum, Lorinda, Harley is now back home, resting and recovering.

We’re so proud of you, Harley! Sending you all the love and cuddles as you continue to get stronger every day. 💕

💛 Patient of the week - Honey 🍯

This little fire cracker has been a frequent flyer at the hospital. Several years ago this poor baby had to have one of her hind legs amputated 😢 Then in 2021 she started seeing us.
Due to issues with her toes and a few other problems she has been back and forth to see us over the last few years. But even with 3 legs to get around, nothing will slow her down! As you can see even getting a photo of Honey was a challenge. 😂
We really appreciate her mum for always coming in with a smile and a positive outlook on Honey’s journey. ❤️

A huge congrats to our amazing puppy school graduates! This was our second class for October and we’re so proud of this adorable group and all the progress they’ve made.

This month, we had the delightful siblings Mango & Pippa, the charming Yoda, the fun-loving Sasha, the energetic Disco, and sweet little Lollie. These pups have been a joy to teach, and we’re thrilled to see how far they’ve come!

🎃🎓 CLASS OF OCTOBER 2024 🎓🎃

Big congratulations to our October puppy school graduates! This class was full of cute and cuddly faces that stole our hearts. We had the charming Boris, sweet little Lola, the playful Frank, adventurous Scout, spunky Ozzie, and the ever-so-lovable Maggie. Thank you to all their wonderful families for joining us!

🌼 Patient of the Week: Daisy! 🌼

This brave little dachshund was just 19 weeks old when she came to see us, after a tumble left her with an injury to one of her front legs. After a thorough examination and some X-rays, we decided on a plan of cage rest and plenty of TLC. And, of course, Daisy became a fast favorite around here!

This week, we did a re-check and saw some fantastic improvement! She charmed the whole team, especially nurse Daniela, who gave her extra cuddles and even made her a custom sling to help her stay cozy 😂

Now, Daisy is back home with her devoted mom and well on the road to a full recovery. Keep getting better, Daisy – we can’t wait to see you fully back to your spunky self soon! 💕

✨ Patient of the Week ✨

Meet Ruby!
This beautiful girl has become a familiar face at our clinic after a mass appeared on her leg that needed urgent removal. Due to its size and location, the area had to heal as an open wound, so Ruby now visits us weekly for bandage changes. It’s clear we all adore her! 🥹💕
Ruby is always so patient and well-behaved, and she’s even developed a routine of post-bandage cuddles with Dr. Richard. Thank you her owner for letting us be apart of Ruby’s journey so far 🫶🏼
