Visit Crocodylus Park, the largest attraction in Darwin, and see crocodiles and other animals "up close and personal"! Crocodylus Park is a crocodile education and research centre with a difference. Opened in August 1994 by world-renowned crocodile biologist Professor Grahame Webb, Crocodylus Park gives the visitor a great chance to view Australian Saltwater Crocodiles from tiny hatchlings up to enormous adults.

Did you know Crocodiles have a vertical pupil? This allows them to retract it to a thin slit during the day limiting light exposure, and at night it expands wide to maximize light exposure for excellent night vision.
