Although our girls are sweet, Water Buffalo are a feral species in the NT.
Through their movement and feeding patterns, they are responsible for huge environmental damage.

Moving along pathways called swim channels, they destroy vegetation and cause devastating erosion.

Did you know Crocodiles have a vertical pupil? This allows them to retract it to a thin slit during the day limiting light exposure, and at night it expands wide to maximize light exposure for excellent night vision.
