On behalf of DWHDC, we would like to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of Round 1 of our Stockman’s Challenge last weekend.

To our incredible committee, thank you for your tireless efforts in bringing this event to life. Your dedication and hard work behind the scenes were invaluable.

Special thanks to Danny Cook, Grace Roth, Bryan Hampson, Leanne Anderson and Robyn Drake for being such wonderful and knowledgeable judges. Your expertise and professionalism helped make the challenge a memorable one for all our competitors.

A very special thank you to Karen Welsh and Michael Czapp for lending their time to pencil for each judge all weekend long.

We also want to acknowledge Gordon and Tim, the legends in the cattle yards, for their hard work in keeping everything moving smoothly there. To our tractor driver, John Scott, thank you for helping with all the machinery work throughout the weekend. And, of course, our incredible canteen ladies, Su, Theresa + co - we would not have survived the weekend without your delicious contributions!

To our sponsors, your support is truly appreciated – your donations are vital in making these events possible. A heartfelt thank you as well to our photographer, MCJukes Photography who was there from dawn till dusk both days, capturing some stunning shots that you are all sure to love for years to come.

We also introduced our helpers fee system for the first time, and we’re grateful to everyone who participated in helping out. It was great to see how it worked in practice, although we did find ourselves a little short when it came time to pack down. We really appreciate everyone’s assistance throughout the event and are thankful for all the hard work.

We hope to see everyone back for the next round of our Stockman’s Challenge on May 10th & 11th. Let’s make it even bigger and better!
