Definitely an impressive specimen this blue phase green tree snake interrupted a family dinner by getting inside. After a quick and stress free encounter it was relocated to the bushland across the road to live a life out of the way.

This little fellow invited its self to a family day on the veranda but due to the young ones around it was kindly asked to leave so with a quick hop skip and a jump to the bush across the road it was on its way to find somewhere else to be. This python thought it had it all figured out had been frequently spotted stationed right next to a bird feeder to take advantage of any opportunity from any unsuspecting hungry birds and when spotted was retreating to a very clever hiding spot in a hollowed out stag horn tree fern. Well eventually its hiding spot was discovered by the client and I was promptly called to move it on to the bush near by. Got a call out for a snake that was coiled up under a fridge once I got there I could see it had recently had a feed I asked the client if they have any small animals that have gone missing and they said they didn’t but there has been a ringtail possum that was frequenting the area so I’m guessing they won’t be seeing that little chap again unfortunately. Once in the bag the snake was moved down the road to the bush to find somewhere else to hole up to digest its meal.

Caught and detained for attempted guinea pig theft then released due to lack of evidence. This medium sized lace monitor decided that some juvenile guinea pigs would make for an easy meal it unfortunately got a bit more than it bargained for when I had to come and remove it from the immediate area and just in time a few minutes more and it would have dug under the cage and had a buffet. Once released it did the usual goanna reaction found something to clime I’m just lad it was the tree and not me this time!
