Who doesn't like a water feature!

We've enjoyed getting this solar water fountain up and running. Now we just have to find a spot for it....

It is true to say that Townsville has zero chill hours in a year. This is very evident when you use the very helpful information on pages such as this: https://plantnet.com.au/plant-care/chill-hours-guide/

Yet, despite this, we are still able to pollinate, propagate and grow fruit that needs up 300 Chill hours/units. How do we know? Because we grow!!

While none of the below photos are professional at all, they are a sample of what we have grown, and eaten over the past couple of years - apples, peaches and plums - and we continue to test and stock more varieties as they bare success.

So if your longing for a little of the south here in the north, pop in and view our stock. Better still, grab yourself a tree, and start growing your own organic healthy fruit from your own backyard!
