So, here is something that we haven't discussed before.....
The conflicting emotions of inviting a new fur loved one into your heart and home.
This is something we discuss a lot in our own home. Does Charlie need a canine friend?
Charlie has his Phil the cat AKA Pdog but Phil is far too sophisticated to play with a Chocodork. 😄

Authorities are reminding pet owners to avoid leaving animals in cars in hot weather.

There have been a number of sightings of dogs left in cars as temperatures continue to warm up.

It comes as temperatures are expected to reach the high 30s over the weekend.

From euthanasia options to burial, cremation and memorialization as well as advice on coping with the grief of pet loss. The guest even mentioned water cremation so Australia is definitely catching on to our environmentally friendly process.

Resting Waters is proud to have joined with Gillin Boys Foundation to find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy & encourage all Warrnambool businesses to do the same. Together we can all make a difference!!!

As you may know Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Warrnambool became a registered foundation in February 2020, endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient from January 2021 & is now known as The Gillin Boys Foundation Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Warrnambool INC.

This change has allowed us to spread awareness of Muscular Dystrophy further & raise much needed funds for research & clinical trials on a larger scale. All the money we raise goes directly to research & clinical trials to help find a cure so future generations don't have to suffer the same fate as previous generations.

The Gillin Boys Foundation Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Warrnambool made a $40,000 donation to The Royal Children's Hospital, Neuromuscular Clinic in mid 2022, $50,000 donation to the Murdoch Children's Research Institute in December 2022 & have recently donated $100,000 to the Murdoch Children's Research Institute that will be used for Duchenne research thanks to merchandise sales, fundraising efforts, general donations & current sponsorship.

We are currently going through a sponsorship drive looking for previous sponsors to recommit or new businesses to come on board as a foundation sponsor to support our fight for a cure. We have 3 different levels to choose from. Each option below is a yearly sponsorship (sponsorship is for the period July 1 to June 30) or a one off sponsorship if you choose.

We understand that the COVID pandemic has impacted many businesses, should you wish to sponsor the foundation but finding it difficult to commit to one of the levels of sponsorship, please contact us to discuss further options. How beautiful! Its really worth creating a special end of life experience with your pets if you have the opportunity.

Farewell in love . This dog, named Greta, had arrived at the last day of her life at the age of 15 years and ended with a serious illness. The owner took them to the place where they both were happiest together. Her favorite beach. In her last hour, he caressed her fur and gently talked to her, told about her adventures together and how much he loved her, he did not leave her alone until her last breath on this world. This is how loyalty goes to a beloved animal until the end. ❤
