Our busy Pet Resort is seeking people to join our dedicated team. On the job training will be provided, however previous experience working with dogs will be highly advantageous
Hours may be negotiable however the successful candidate would ideally be able to work weekends, school and public holidays when required. Ability to work at short notice to cover staff absences is also strongly desired.
The suitable candidate MUST possess the following skills/attributes:
· Have dog handling experience.
· Have a strong understanding and knowledge of dog behaviour and their body language.
· Have a high level of attention to detail.
· The ability to work efficiently within our time frames.
· Enthusiastic and positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
· Be able to take direction whilst at times also showing initiative.
· Be hardworking, responsible and accountable with a strong work ethic.
Duties will include but not limited to:
· Preparing meals, feeding and administering medications
· Cleaning of kennels to a high level of hygiene.
· Provision of food and water for the dogs.
· Health checks
