Well kids we’re at the end of the school holidays. Remember while you embark on this years school journey you have the power to be what ever you want to be. Who knows you might be the scientist who makes the breakthrough in a cure for cancer or you may be the best prime minister the country has ever seen. The only person holding you back, is you. Walk into school tomorrow ready to unleash your full potential.

However when the kids do go back tomorrow our fur friends may get a bit down in the dumps after having the kids home for so long. Maybe leave the radio on for them so they have some noise until they adjust to every one not being around all day.

Heat wave conditions have been predicted for the north west coast for the next few days.
Please make sure you leave plenty of water for your pets. If you have out side pets leave water in the shade so it doesn’t get too hot to drink.
Also please consider leaving some water out for birds and if you’re in a wildlife life area for wildlife as well except away from the house a bit in case it attracts our non-legged friends as well.
Make sure your outside animals have some shade to get away from the sun.
Also if you want to take your dog for a walk be aware that the road and foot paths will be very hot so try and walk on grass where possible.
I hope you all don’t get too uncomfortable in the heat.
Maybe load the freezer up with icy poles for yourself.
