Fun for Dogs offers a refreshed view on dog training. With a focus on fun, we use only positive training methods to help you get the most out of training, whether it’s with your new puppy or your older dog. Our small classes provide a more personalised training experience and provide an enjoyable and beneficial environment for you and your dog to learn in.
We run classes at times other than the traditional weekend dog training classes. By offering classes through the week, both in the evening and through the day, you can still fit in training your canine family member without sacrificing your precious weekend or trying to fit it in around other weekend activities.
Fun for Dogs provides both indoor and outdoor training facilities. Some of our training programs include a doggy swimming lesson, run by a qualified canine swimming instructor. Contrary to popular belief, swimming does not come naturally to all dogs. Our swimming lesson will provide a safe introduction to swimming for your dog. We are the only local training facility to offer obedience training programs that include a swimming lesson!
All our trainers are fully qualified, having obtained their Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training (highest qualification currently available in Australia) with the National Dog Trainers Federation (NDTF). Further, all trainers are (State) Government accredited. We continue to grow and increase our knowledge by constantly attending and participating in conferences and workshops with both International and Australian trainers and experts. This ensures we keep abreast with new developments in dog and animal training, providing you with the most up to date methods.
