Content Mares…❤️

Big day moving mares, farrier, worming, quick haircuts and slashing paddocks… many hours goes in to the upkeep of these cobs and still…. They could do with a bath or two if I get any volunteers??🤪

The cobs are still adjusting to the new pastures and climate here on the coast, slowly but surely they are starting to bloom again.

But when I sit and watch them and observe how content they are living in small herds it makes me so happy 🥰

Seems like Alvan should have been named ‘Black Beauty’ as he is genetically solid black with no hidden dilute colour genes… 🤩

I would love to see him out in the showring, I think he will be very striking being fully black right to the tips of his toes.

New big/little kid on the block…. Huge, healthy, strong and very friendly. Interestingly has no white socks!! Both parents & his full brother have white everywhere but this guy will have solid black legs which is very exciting 🤩

His name came to me very quickly… he definitely shocked us into action as he was born early, and he’s the most beautiful steel colour.

Tanglewood Park Serenade in Gold, locally known as little Blondie here, has celebrated her 24th birthday!
She is the only riding pony I have left from when I used to breed Palomino Australian Riding Ponies. Little Blondie is happily retired and living a very relaxed life, which she deserves greatly after producing many fantastic quality foals who have gone on to be hugely successful in all disciplines.

Little Blondie gave me three beautiful fillies before retiring.
