This page is based on our property in Dowerin W.A. It has always been my dream of owning and creating a small hobby farm that can produce food to constitute the majority of mine and my family's fresh produce consumption. Taking into account the first few years would be establishing and/or reviving what little was here. I thought why not help others that want to do the same? You could have 1mtr x 1
mtr of dirt or less in suburbia or the fortunate size we have to use. By teaching others through sharing information, as well as my own personal success and/or failures with different methods It may be useful for anyone wanting to become more sustainable. This page is also a way for me to let locals know of any extra produce we have for sale, in conjunction with my love of our pet Chickens, this will allow me to let you all know what breeds I will have for sale next year when I kick off my pure breed chicken breeding endeavor. Also the small amount of income we hope to make from any "Farm" sales will be directly invested in to our next farm project towards sustainability and self sufficiency. At the end of the day, we are just a small scale hobby farm. We are in no delusion this way of life is going to make us rich or financially free, it's simply to grow, create and share food and pet chickens with love. In turn I hope to allow everyone a chance to enjoy some of the edible creations we create :)
