We’re not a large animal vet clinic but that doesn’t stop us swooning when stray kids come in! 🐐
🦷🤎FRANKIE🤎🦷
Frankie the English bulldog presented to Dr Mervin with reflux, snoring, low energy, excessive sleeping and disinterest in food.
After a consult with Dr. Mervin, it was determined that Frankie was eligible for a 5/5 BOAS surgery. This surgery entailed:
- Shortening of Frankie’s soft palate.
- Widening Frankie’s naires.
- Removing Frankie’s tonsils (this is only done if necessary!)
- Removing Frankie’s laryngeal saccules.
Watch the before and after BOAS videos below. ( some more pics on the comments ☺️

LONG WEEKEND FUN
Bonnie came to visit us back in early August for a fresh artificial insemination. Her owners had been hoping to breed with her for a very long time and were not sure that they would be lucky enough to see her have her own litter. Fortunately, the AI was successful but, unfortunately, Bonnie had complications with labour. Her owners drove 3 hours early this morning so we could perform an emergency caesarian. But it was very much worth it, turn sound on for adorable happy puppy squeaks 🥰🥰. Can anyone guess what breed these puppies might be? Photos of Bonnie posted tomorrow!
MyLab 8 Ultrasound Machine had it's 1st patient today.
One pregnant Mum with very happy owners.
