A multitude of thanks, firstly to Western Waler Stud & StoneField Waler & Warmblood Stud for selecting Ruffy especially for me- for Steve Burke, working with the principles of both those studs to ensure all these girls had enough of a foundation and handling, to make the massive trip from east to west across the country...
Secondly, to the patience and care of Professional Horse Transport drivers Tom & Lorna for getting all these girls here!!
I am beyond thrilled with this lovely mare, and can't wait to build a rapport with her!!

These horses are awesome.
We just did 2x 2 day intense handling with 2 mares and a foal to prepare them for trucking over east.
They were big days. Sunrise to sunset and under shed lights on the last day to replicate the 4am start.
If anyone is generally keen to see this or be part of the process we have plenty of wildies to be handled.
I have a trainer, Steve Bourke, and as he states, it can be like watching paint dry…..but I have just done one journey from yard to pen to walking through a raceway, willingly, over a pallet, flying jackets, chaff bags, logs, carpet tunnel to haltering, engaging and a softness to move each foot.
I unloaded a mare at Northam Truck Assembly area, after her first ever floating trip, by the front of her halter, one soft step after another.
You can just watch or you can learn on the job😊
I will ask for some input to the cost.
We have a local pub, or caravan park, or you are welcome to camp here. I have an outside toilet, shower and power.
Only if you are generally interested and open minded please 🙏
And not looking for a magic trick, but just pure honest stock handling and connection; please get in touch 😊

She has come into season!! So assume not pregnant. Appears young. Next week we will run her through and start haltering and leading.

This is what I was meant to be doing……
The last 2 days I have immersed myself into some very cool stock handling. Thank you to Steve Bourke, he has opened the door to connect the feel to the horse as a cow 🐄 💕
I have naturally moved stock. Couldn’t tell you how I know, childhood as a sheep farmer, then to receive and draft 10,000’s of sheep weekly at the Katanning sale yards. Maybe. Just came easy.
The idea of recreating that without recreating that was not simple. It was breaking down your perception, your thoughts, your intent, to just being, to feel the feel. To breathe. To just do. Make mistakes, adjust, work with what you have now.
2 full days on 2 mares and 1 foal. What is so exciting is the ability to put them into a yard with a thought and a willingness because there is good feelings in there. Now that is cool 😎 🥰

It was to be an early trip down south….. my Tuffnut, the black b in the middle was leading these girls in a merry go round race. One thing about these Koorda girls. They are not leaving their comfort zone….pretty safe to say you could leave a gate open and they would not venture out😏
We juggled 7 different mobs to manoeuvre and draft off Alicia’s mares, draft off c**ts and a filly and put my girls together. Meanwhile keeping some sort of peace😊
Then get my 2 girls on the back of the truck for a visit to Clayton Something Special 💛💛💛💛💛

We enjoyed representing the 10th Light Horse and the Waler Horse Society and not to be out done, we had a couple of callouts on Sunday after we got home😏

This beautiful girl rightfully said that she was not staying in the holding yard, or even the 600 acre paddock, to even contemplate getting on a truck.
That night she had her little bay filly DP August 💕
EOI, she is regal. Originally in the 2 Hind Stallion mob.
And since has been running with DP Grey Ghost

Introducing Dudley Park Destiny.
Talking to Neville Trainor, he said she was a carbon copy of his original mare. I asked if I could call this mare after her😊
DP Destiny is part of the Bay Sisters Stallion mob that we saw in June. One of the last mobs we saw, we were tired, overwhelmed after looking at over 60 amazing horses.
One look and I said yep I would love to come back for her💕
It has taken 3 trips, and I have her home💕
We are so blessed.
Although now I feel completely wrecked.
To get her, I have brought back 35 horses. 3 trucks, 2100km, and the support of a husband, a daughter, a son and a good friend Daniegh Renton😏
There is a bonus, her foal DP Prosperity and her yearling DP Shanahan.
