Where Dogs Love to Learn
Our classes are designed to help dogs overcome their fears so they can learn in a great environment. We use activities to get the dogs thinking for themselves on what works and what doesn't. We avoid stress and adversives so owners enjoy the sessions too. We cover manners agility and trick training. We also work with reactive dogs. The cost is only $10 each time you can make it, and classes are normally on a Sunday morning at 9am.
Carmel Hodgins and Karen Donnelly have many years of experience in the training and behaviour modification of dogs encountered in Animal Refuge/Rescue organisation, private consultations and classes. Both have completed a Certificate iv in Dog Behavioural Training with the Delta Society Australia and have attended numerous seminars on Dog Behaviour in Brisbane and Sydney over the years from many internationally acclaimed speakers. Karen and Carmel have also conducted weekly training classes over the years at animal refuge and rescue organisations and also conduct weekly training sessions at 25 Ramsay Court Dundathu, Queensland. These classes take place on Sunday mornings at 9am. Any changes to the times will be posted on this page. Check chains, prong collars and the like are not permitted. Soft leads, normal collars, martingale collars, harnesses and haltis are preferred.
