This beautiful mare was bred by Tashkent Friesians. Her dam is now in Tasmania and we no longer have any Django semen left so she is a one off. Combining the wonderful performance bloodlines of Django and The BHM horses.

As either a ridden horse or a broodmare she will be outstanding.

Eloura have retained her first daughter.

"So proud of Lucy today showing her yearling Tashkent Black Azul at the Roan Nationals, hosted by NSW Colour Extravaganza. Both our babies behaved beautifully, but especially Azul as it was his first show.

Lucy has worked really hard getting him ready, on top of Yr12 and working at Saddleworld Bowral.

Azul was a star with many falling in love with him, he came very close to taking out Supreme Yearling in Show.

Bred by Tashkent Friesians this lovely young gelding was made Star at his first Keuring. Since then he has been started and gone on for more training under saddle. Geldings of this quality , ready to ride, come up infrequently, so move fast if you are interested.

The bittersweet.

One of the things I will definitely not miss about breeding foals is gelding c**ts. It is always worrisome.

These are my last two c**ts, well c**ts no more. Gelded yesterday morning they seem oblivious to the momentous occasion it was.

The place looks amazing at the moment and the horses are enjoying being surrounded by grass. They are not enjoying quite so much the outbreak of biting insects from itch inducing midges to march flies.

As you may know Tashkent Friesians is hanging up its breeding hat. Our last three foals are on the ground and available , along with some of our younger mare ( ridden and/or broodmares).

The main purpose of this post however is to reach out to everyone who has a Tashkent horse as we would love to do a 'Where are they now' post.

I will put up a post listing names and dates of birth. Unfortunately quite a few predate my photographic records so I may not be able to match them all.

If you own a horse sired by Django or Jacana but not bred by us you are welcome too, but I won't have any photos.

Our second Smooth Blues c**t. This one is 25% Friesian 25% Warmblood and 50% QH.

So impressed with out two c**ts but they are quite different with very obvious input from their dams.

Tashkent Black Azul, the first born from the PRE mare BHM Black Margherita is a tall leggy c**t while this one, Tashkent Djazzuro , out of Tashkent Djosefa is a petite dainty lad.

Both are available.
