2010 Allen (AJ) Kearns half breed saddle. Lovely and comfortable saddle. Regretful sale but is sitting in house and is surplus to needs. Suit youth, teen, lady/small adult. In good condition, some marks, some wear on girth holes. Has been used as show saddle so has been well cared for. Girth is double buckle. Comes mounted. $3,500.

Here's to the Ranch Wife.

The one that works all day, then comes home to do chores and cook supper.
Who has a dirty house, piles of laundry, but a full heart.
Who loves her animals more then anything.
Who sometimes, wears her cutest earrings and makeup even If its only for the cows to see
She loves to dress up, but also loves the feeling of dirt on her hands.
Who is still desperately trying to figure out the bookwork end of things.
Who loves to serve others, and sometimes loses herself a little in the process.

We're all a little different, but all still the same.
I see you my friend.
Keep on keeping on.
The world would be a lot less beautiful without you in it.

I knew there was a reason I liked the colour turquoise, and now I know so do the horses!

UPDATED: Quick Tip - Want your horse to drink more water? Try using a turquoise bucket. The Australian Journal of Veterinary Sciences recently published a study that horses prefer to drink out of teal buckets. They tested six bucket colors. Most to least picked were: turquoise, light blue, light green, green, yellow, and red. (We notice some of you think this is an April Fools joke... this one is actually true, unlike today's earlier post.)
