We headed over to Lucindale SA for the weekend for the dog trial their, all dogs performing well with the old boy Rogan making the top 4 final in the maiden with a score of 93 , out of 66 dogs , ended up finishing 2nd. Bryn also going well with a score of 91 just missing out on making the final by a couple points.

Successful day out yesterday for the team at the coleraine yard dog trial, we had 2 dogs make the top 6 maiden / novice final. Celtic Bryn and Gogetta Xena. Bryn scoring a 89 in the first round than in the final was all going to plan until we done a miss draft and forced to retire , Xena putting 2 very strong runs together and coming away with the win in novice and 2nd in maiden , absolute credit to Xena after straight back from a few months off on maternity leave. Thank you to all the organisers and judges for a well run event and challenging sheep.

We hit the road again to lancefied this weekend for the trial. Bryn going well for us with a score of 87 , finished in 4th place out of 55 dogs. Thank you to all the organisers for running a great event.

we hit the road for a full weekend of dog trialing on the weekend , first one on Saturday at the Seymour show , great trial and testing sheep, we had Skye and Bryn , unfortunately we retired Skye as the sheep were not playing the game for us and Skye still been young we decided was best to retire her at the point we got to.
Bryn had a good run scoring a 73.

We hit the road again to head to the Kerang trial on Sunday were we had - Skye , Rogan and Bryn , again sheep were testing and another good trial , Skye going very well on a score of 80 , rogan had a superb run on a score of 90 witch would have had him finish 2nd and in the final but unfortunately the old bu**er decided as we walked out the gate at end of his run to p**s on the gate 🤦‍♂️ so that cost him a few points and put him out of the final. Bryn had another solid run on 84 , , not enough to get him a spot in the final.

Plenty more trials coming up for the team , let’s hope our luck starts to turn 👍👍

Another trial done for the team at Horsham on the weekend.

Unfortunately not coming away with placings this time round on some tricky sheep which was good but didn’t want to play the game for us. Still a few solid runs and now we look forward to this weekend competing again. 👍👍

Ace at 4 months old is ticking all the boxes for us , strength , cover/hold , natural , intelligent/smart , and a big tick for temperament , we look for our dogs to be strong in the mind and biddable , Ace is very good in that area ✅

Always great getting good feedback from clients after taking home one of our pups/dogs , this one is Caruana Holly - ( Celtic Bryn x Beloka Skye ) Caitlin and Luke took ownership of this little beauty and had her at Wayne Gelven school on the weekend. Wayne is working Holly in this video.

Caruana Kirby - Celtic Bryn x Beloka Skye.

Very promising start for this pup at 13 weeks old. Shows everything we were looking and hoping for in this litter. Very consistent litter , all switched on from 7 weeks of age and plenty to like in them. Bold temperaments , stylish , cover/hold , strength. 🤞

Celtic Bryn x Beloka Skye pups

12 weeks old , having their 3rd look on stock. Impressive early maturing pups with a super strong temperament about them. Very keen and plenty in them. Looking forward to starting to shape these ones up and watching them grow and progress in their training and work

That’s another wrap up for us at the 2024 Hamilton sheepvention trial. We took Celtic Bryn and GoGetta Xena , both competing respectively in the novice section and again unfortunately just missing out on the finals with Xena having a very good run until the handler decided to do a miss draft 🤦‍♂️, she ended up with a score of 90 , if handler drafted correctly score would have been a 98 witch would have top scored , but that’s trialing.
Bryn again having a good run with a score of 89.
Very happy with both dogs. 👍
