We hit the road and headed to the lucindale SA championships over the last few days. Very pleased and rewarding with all our dogs efforts over the 3 days, all giving a 110% for us. Bryn been a real highlight once again and breaking the ice with a first place in the maiden with a first round score of 92 and than to back it up in the final with a 94, and 3rd place in the novice , the old boy Rogan just missing out on a maiden final scoring a 87 and both gold and Rosie narrowly missing out also on 82 and 84 .
very strong competition with a big field of over 50 dogs competing. Thank you to all the organisers and judges and well done to all other competitors.

Now we work on a few things this week and move on to the vic championships at natimuk

Was great to be able to catch up and compete with one of our proud and long time sponsors at the event Icenfire Dog Collars , always keeping our team looking very smart.

Another successful weekend at the 2025 mount sturgeon farm dog trial , but again another 2nd 🤦‍♂️🤣, Bryn getting a 3rd place in the maiden and Xena finishing in the top 4 novice final out of 75 dogs , she ended up 2nd 👍,

Thank you to everyone that helped out over the big 2 days of trialing , was a huge success and can’t wait for next year and bigger and better 👍

Successful day today at the mount Hesse Farm dog trial with Bryn making the top 4 final out of a big field of 70 dogs in the novice finishing in 2nd spot. Very proud of all our dogs and their efforts today. Well done to all the other competitors and place getters and thank you to all the organisers and judges for the day.

Now we look forward to next weekend at mount sturgeon in dunkeld for the big farm dog trial their , make sure you get along and support this trial and see some of Australia’s best handlers and work dogs 👍

Very rewarding and exciting as a breeder when your pups switch on for the fist time and show some very good instinct. This litter have been a bit slower to lock on to their work but if this bitch is anything to go by than was worth the wait.

Caruana Rosie coming along very nicely , liking the way she arcs out correctly and holds her distance on the points without busting / causing splits but has some nice walk in to create movement when she needs to. Very biddable and strong temperament that goes with it. ✅👌

Farm dog trial held on the 22/23 of February in dunkeld Victoria at the picturesque mount sturgeon sheep yards, running encourage , maiden/novice , improver/open classes , we are also running a local class for anyone just wanting to have a go that reside within 50Kms of Dunkeld. Entry form is now online at the Victorian Yard Utility Farm Dog Association so get all your entries in. event will be fully catered breakfast and lunch. All spectators are welcome and encouraged to come and watch some of the best handlers and dogs in Australia compete as they take on the new trial course. 👍
