There's lots to do and see your ticket includes

🐣 cuddle little animals

🐐🐑🦙🐖🐄🐎🫏🦌 say hi to our friendly farmy pets ( there are lots of them!)

🐓 🦆 Visit our chook yard or now poultry paddock. We have a few ducks visiting in there at the moment!!

🐐 visit our open paddock full of our mini goats

PLUS a there's a sandpit, a natural playground, for a little extra you can buy a bucket of feed, a pony ride or collect some eggs to take home and there is also DiggerZone!

We would love you to come visit our little farm. We are sure you will create some beautiful memories!

RECENTLY, we have had many issues with unhappy people just turning up to the farm with no bookings and then proceeding to get angry with us regarding the way we run our little farm... it's not fair that we need to deal with this and then deal with their bad reviews!

Let's start by saying
WE have ONLY ever operated (only for around 40 years) as BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL.

Some reasons.....

1. It's stop over crowding - the farm is not big.. it's small and we don't want it too busy so families enjoy their day.

2. Our staff can plan their day out with all their jobs between looking after the animals and the visitors

3. We close for the day at times if we have large schools in
or part days to get farm work down!

4. As we are an interactive farm, we pre plan our animals' days around the visitors booked in. This is great for our animals' welfare.

5. The farm closes 2 hours after our last booking. So if the last booking is 10am we close at 12pm.

6. We staff our days to the bookings.

We don't think it's too much to ask to
BOOK YOUR SPOT.
It's easy it takes 2 minutes online to do AND you DON'T PAY ONLINE. ..... you just BOOK YOUR SPOT.

*It does need to be done prior to the visit (2 hours)

I will also add the website says BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL 10 times, the farms gate has bookings are essential on it 2 times.
There is a welcome sign near the front entry that also states BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL.
It's on every flyer, banner, email, social media post & newspaper article! It's not hidden!!!

Let's hope this is more obvious... for those who say they can't find where it says BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL.

Looks like it will be another busy event... and we are so excited to welcome all of the lucky ticket holders to our little farm!

We are sorry if you missed out. There are no more tickets available for the public holidays, and there is no waitlist this year.

A few things that might help you pick a name - It's a boy - He is pure white - He was born on ANZAC day - We are looking at an ANZAC themed name! - and just in case you are not sure it is a lamb (baby sheep). Put your suggestions below and we will get our littlest farmers to pick a name tomorrow. If your name suggestion gets picked we will send you a free general/ single entry ticket!! We sell EVERYTHING you need to raise these little girls! - heat lights - food - bedding - and any advice you need! - they are vaccinated In 18 weeks you will have eggs!!!! $25 each Our advice is you should buy more than 1 so that it isn't lonely and chirping for a friend! Welcome to Golden Ridge Animal Farm Golden Ridge Animal Farm is a fully family owned business that has been operated by the Nye family for over 26 years and run by Alisa Nye for the past 10 years. Golden Ridge has had many vast improvements and upgrades in the last 5 years and still more planned to make this an even greater place to visit. Over the past 26 years we have gained a great deal of knowledge on both animals and children. We aim to provide a fun and educational experience for children and parents. We have a large variety of friendly farm animals, most of which have been hand raised on the farm. We have every farm animal you can think of, ranging from small pet mice up to the big bull and everything in between. The children never forget the friendly animals and all of the hands on activities, these are just a few of the reasons that people keep coming back time and time again. We can provide an enjoyable experience for all groups - be it a school group, birthday parties, play groups, pre schools, nursing homes, child care centres or just the family, we provide all hands on activities so you and the children will get the most out of your day on the farm. There are two picnic areas on the farm so when lunch time comes up feel free to use these areas. There are gas barbeques available however there are no food outlets on the farm so don’t forget your picnic lunch. We are located on the beautiful Hills District suburb of Dural which is a 45 minute drive from the Sydney CBD. By visitng Golden Ridge you will be supporting a family run and owned farm one of the last in Sydney for people to visit We hope you enjoy your day at the farm.
