"Great vet clinic. We have a dog and elderly cat and the level of knowledge and care demonstrated by the staff is superb. I have never once felt rushed during a consult. Very fair on cost too. Some odd behaviour by our cat was followed up on by the vet, which lead to the diagnosis of a thyroid condition, for which he is now medicated for and living happily. We have had a positive case of heartworm disease today.
Did you know that approximately 2% of dogs get heartworm disease? It's a deadly parasite that is transmitted by mosquitoes. Signs of the disease include coughing, exercise intolerance and weight loss. Continuous, year-round protection can help prevent this condition as well as mosquito control.

Give the clinic a call if you are unsure if your pet is up to date or you would like an appointment for a yearly Proheart Injection.

🎄 A reminder as we are entering the silly season to give plenty of notice when ordering your pets medication.
To avoid delays please allow 48 hours notice when requesting medication, and a minimum 2 weeks for compounded medication.

We will be closed from Wednesday 25th December until Thursday 2nd January, all compounded medication orders needed prior to Christmas should be requested prior to the 10th December 🎄

Regular health checks can help us to identify any early signs of health issues. Particularly for cats that tend to hide illness, finding problems early increases the chance for effective treatment.

** Renovation Update **
We are very excited to announce we will be starting to move back into our George St clinic at the end of this week. We are operating as normal until Wednesday this week at Garnett rd, Thursday and Friday we will be open for emergencies only as we move, with reopening on Monday 29th July at George Street.
