Billabong Trail Rides was established in 1992 by Richard Acquisto. It operated from Chanter's Lane in East Trentham, riding through the Wombat State Forest. We moved to Echuca in May 1995, bringing the horses & starting the rides along the Murray River. In May 1998 the business moved onto 230 acres, 12 kms East of Echuca. To own a property that housed all of the horses, with room for growth in all

areas. Not to mention, plenty of bush & river trails to ride along. Accommodation, arenas & lots of activities were built along the way to enhance visitors experiences. Due to the popularity of weddings on site & the number of religious schools attending camp, a bush chapel was built. As our business evolves we recognise the need for continual improvement. As many visitors, work experience students & even our employees say. It is a way of life"
