We welcomed number 3 into the world late this morning, no filly fairy this time but a lovely surprise with a chestnut c**t taking after his grandpa ‘Tamale’. We were certainly expecting a Bay C**t 🧡

Spice Girl is doing well, and her cross to HLR Tough Az will certainly give this baby some go go power! 💨

When you own and breed horses there can be a lot of disappointment, times you feel like quitting and a lot of the time spending all your coin doing what’s best for them before what’s best for yourself, which can be tiring. But then you get days like this, it makes all the hard work, patience, time and view of the long term plan you put in place all worth while, keeping you moving forward doing it again & again, season after season.

HLR Tough Az (aka Puffy) finally made his first ever barrel race at Dash 4 Cash in Lyndoch Sunday. Theres plenty to figure out & so much more to learn yet, but this is where the highs and lows of seasoning babies begins!

It’s nice to be riding and training a home grown baby, makes it so much more rewarding, anyone who does it, knows!

Number 2 has hit the ground on the most stormy night ever!! ⚡️🌧️ 12:30am we were blessed with the filly fairy 🧚 once again (must come on Fridays) & she is just everything! Only white markings she has is a tiny white sock on the back foot. First time mum is doing well & is a great mum!

By ‘HLR Tough Az’ & out of ‘Sheez Salty Az’ there’s no registered or paddock names set for this one yet!!

Both ladies are due end of October & are the last two due to foal for us. These babies will carry lines of Tamale, HempDeck & Boolarra Bullrush, then both by HLR Tough Az.

Sheez Salty Az, an Acres Destiny mare that is in foal to our boy HLR Tough Az.

Shes due from the 10th Oct, so we have afew weeks wait but you never know with maidens! Cant wait for this baby 🖤

There will be a short list year of foals available (they will most likely be the c**ts, if any) so watch this space for some babies with big motors coming!

Springfield Park Clarrisah is loving her new life up in sunny QLD with Grace.

We are blessed with the most gorgeous BIG filly! Her colour is so deceiving. Mum is doing well for her first time & is being a great mum 🤍🩶

Nice big (17 hander) to get into winter with ❄️ We’ve battled with the wet weather over the last few weeks which has been tough & cold 🥶 but this fella has come leaps and bounds in just afew short weeks! (And yes… mounting block is definitely needed for my short legs!)

Broken in and trail ridden previously, this beautiful 5yo arrived for some education & confidence to add to his resume, and with his kind, willing temperament, he has definitely been fun to work with! 🤎
