Daisy was in during the week for routine desexing. Here she is having her post anaesthetic nutrient snack. If only we could all eat and sleep at the same time! 😉

Did you know?? 🐰 🐹
With all of our rabbit and guinea pig patients that are in hospital or recovering from surgery, we like to keep them in clinic and hand feed a special food called ‘Critical Care’. Critical Care aims at restoring normal gut mobility and function so our little friends are eating and poking normally before returning home. Exotic patients need to eat constantly throughout the day to stay healthy. If you do notice your pet has stopped eating or there is a reduction in food intake and/or faecal output it is important to always seek advise promptly from a veterinarian.
Little Luna came in this morning for a “happy” visit! If only everyone was this happy to come to the vet 😂. Happy visits are great for puppies, new patients and anxious dogs to help them get used to the vet with lots of treats, pats and no needles!! #staffordshirebullterrier #dogsofinstagram #newcastlevet #vetnurselife
