NEW HOURS – Private Lessons in Ellenbrook & Surrounds
With the cooler weather settling in, we’re extending our Saturday morning private lessons to 7AM–10AM. These sessions are a great opportunity to work one-on-one with your dog in a calm, focused environment.

Whether you're working on:
• Loose lead walking
• Improving recall
• Building calmness around distractions
• Addressing reactivity or aggression
• Teaching reliable obedience
• Managing puppy behaviours or boisterous adults
•And much more.

We can help guide you and your dog through it.

If you're attending a Group Walk & Train, it means you've mastered your basic skills and are ready to train in a closer group setting. So, we take things up a notch to challenge you, your dog, and expand your abilities.

➡️ Pass The Object—Here’s why we play it at Group Walk & Trains:

1️⃣ Desensitizing to social interaction:
Owners of reactive dogs often avoid interacting with others, which can make it difficult when someone approaches or engages unexpectedly. By playing this game, your dog becomes accustomed to seeing you interact with other dog owners from a safe distance, learning not to react to those interactions.

2️⃣ Impulse control:
As you pass a random object to the next person, your dog must maintain focus on you and follow commands like sit, down, or stand. This helps teach them to stay calm and controlled, even with movement and distractions around.

3️⃣ Confidence building:
For reactive or anxious dogs, practising calm behaviour in a group environment is key. This exercise provides a safe, structured setting to help them grow more confident around other dogs and people.

4️⃣ Communication:
The game strengthens the connection between handler and dog. By working through distractions, your dog learns to listen to your cues more consistently, building trust and responsiveness.
