Blinky adores playing with toys, and his playful spirit really comes out during interactive games with his foster mates. He responds well in a home with older children who understand the importance of giving him the space and patience he needs to adjust. A devoted companion, Blinky would thrive in a household filled with understanding individuals who can provide affection while respecting his gentle temperament.

💔🐾 A heartbreaking morning for sweet Chilli… 🐾💔

Yesterday morning, one of our wonderful volunteer carers woke to a very sad sight.

This is Chilli — one of 4 beautiful souls who came into our care only a few weeks ago. Not long after arriving, it became clear that Chilli and her 3 colony sisters were all expecting little ones of their own.

But yesterday, heartbreak struck. Chilli’s carer found that her first precious baby — a beautiful ginger and white boy — was born sleeping. 💔 After examining him, it became clear why Chilli had struggled — he was a big boy at 119g (when the average newborn kitten is just 80–90g). After this, Chilli’s labour came to a complete stop.

We rushed her to the incredible team at Terrigal Veterinary Hospital, who discovered that Chilli still had one more baby inside — To save her and her bubba, it was decided she needed an emergency C-section.
Bubba was safely delivered, weighing in at a whopping 135g!

Thanks to their quick action, Chilli is now safely home… with one strong, chunky whopper of a bubba by her side. 🐾💙

Matty thrives best in the company of fellow felines. This social butterfly would love a home where he can share his playful antics with another cat or be adopted alongside one of his Hub mates. Having a feline friend will not only help Matty feel more comfortable, but it will also provide endless entertainment as the two cats frolic and engage in their favourite games.

Though Matty has blossomed significantly in our care, he will need some extra patience from his new family as he acclimates to his new environment. Once he feels safe and secure, his affectionate nature and fun-loving personality will shine through.
