Hello,

Welcome to the week that was.

Just a short video this week even though it’s been a crazy week, alot of it we can’t show due to privacy reasons or active investigations.

We have had some great adoptions and rescue saves plus we have been helping out other facilities that also have been reaching close to full capacity. To us it’s about the animals, not ego’s, not who’s better or who has the bigger facility etc. It’s about working together for the best outcome of the animals.

Leanne and Tahnee are back on deck, thank goodness. I’m ready for a holiday but doubtful it will come anytime soon.

As of yesterday we hit extreme capacity with 22 dogs out of 25 kennels. It’s been dog after dog coming in with no Microchip. The sad thing for me, those owners will leave these dogs here and just get a replacement later. The cycle never stops.

Anyway we hope you have a great week. As always stay safe, be kind and continue to be your awesome selves.

Much love to you all
Dee and team💋

Introducing Tank!

Tank is a Staffy x born 30th December 2024.

Since being at the facility Tank has been incredibly affectionate with staff & volunteers and we have all fallen in love with him!

He has met some of our cats and the poor little cutie doesn't understand why they don't want to play with him!

Being a pup, he will be easily trainable and he is eager to please his owners.

Like every pup, Tank will thrive with early socialisation and exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences will ensure he grows to be a well rounded companion.

He still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Tank will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.

Being young he is still growing into his personality, but this young man is a very loving pup who loves to cuddle and kiss everyone he meets.

Please note that if you have an existing dog in residence, we will require a meet and greet to ensure they get along before they go home. When organising a meet and greet, we will require a current vaccination certificate for your existing dog to ensure that there is no chance of infecting the pups who are currently not up to date with their vaccinations.

Tank's adoption fee includes his desexing and lifetime registration.

Tank is also regularly treated for flea and worms and has had his first vaccination.

To enquire more or to meet Tank, please call 0499 900 272 or email [email protected] and speak to one of our friendly staff.

Tank is looking forward to meeting you and he is currently located in East Maitland.

Happy Sunday Sangas!

This week the kids had toasted cheese sandwiches. While some thought it was a delicious treat, others felt a bit ripped off after having burgers last week hahaha.. poor babes!

Our big and "ferocious" eaters have all left the building, so this week's video is a slower pace than usual, but still filled with the cuties you've come to expect from our videos.

The weekend has once again gotten away from us and we ran out of time for the rest of our week that was, so tune in tomorrow for that!

In the meantime, we hope you enjoy this week's installment of Sunday Sangas

Our Story

We are a dedicated team of animal lovers, desperate to secure loving homes for animals that deserve a second chance at life. We work closely with other pounds near and far to ensure as many re-homable* animals as possible can be saved. We are a no kill facility who also currently house the Central coast Pound.

Our director Dee, started in animal rescue in 2013 and is a keen advocate for responsible pet ownership, surrounded by an equally devoted team and group of volunteers, who go to extraordinary lengths to ensure all animals go to the right home. Working alongside local businesses spanning the entire Central Coast region, it is our goal to have all animals chipped and identified, while educating pet owners of the responsibility of pet ownership, unwanted litters and timely vet intervention.

100% of donations go directly towards the care of animals housed at the facility as well as transportation of animals at high kill shelters. The transport costs and unforeseen vet bills do account for many expenses and without the help of volunteers we would be unable to save as many animals as we currently do. We look forward to expanding to rescue many more animals who through no fault of their own have found themselves alone, unloved and some with only weeks to live.
