To all our wonderful Woofers clients, just an update for you. After a long almost 9 weeks since surgery Matt has actually said this week that he would like to start easing back into washing his very missed fur friends.
So over the next couple of weeks I will be in contact with our regular clients and try to make a few appointments.
We have missed you all

So we have had a little set back 😒
Matt has spent the last 3 days back in hospital with an infection in his knee. Having multiple doses of iv antibiotics.
After doing so well and getting a glowing report from the physio he may have been a bit too ambitious with helping bring in fire wood.
Accidentally dropping a piece on his knee and possibly ruptured the internal stitches.
But he’s home again now with a very groovey little vacuum pump dressing on for the next few days then back to the orthopaedic specialist on Tuesday.
Fingers crossed that is all that is needed as a fix.

Just thought I would keep you all updated with his progress.

Just an update on Matt…. “Mr Woofers”
We have just hit the 4 week post op mark and Matt is doing really well. Hitting all the right marks above and beyond what is normal but as we all know that it only in true Matthew style.

I am super proud of him. Yes he has bad days when he has pain that we just can’t seem to pinpoint (or when we had a does of covid again) but he not once has stopped trying to do better then the day before. He continues to have a very positive mind and spirit and I am blessed that his recovery has been going so well. I wonder if it has anything to do with all the massages he gets from me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

So we are hoping that he continues to kick goals so he will be back to his doggy whispering once the weather warms up again.

Just thought I would give you all an update on the doggy whisper aka Matt.
We are home now and Matt is resting and healing.
Our puppies were so excited to see us yesterday and little Mae has barely left Matt’s side. Very protective little poppet she is.
Teddy also thinks it’s a great game every time Matt gets up and hobbles around on his crutches. Bless him.

To all our wonderful Woofers family, I just thought I would give you all a quick update.
Matt finally had his full knee replacement yesterday so today is day one and there is a world of hurt, emotions and a team of specialists trying to get the medication right and to combat the pain.
But the biggest thing we hold onto is today is day one and the only way out from here is up.
One day at a time it will get better and Matt will be back to full mobility and back doing what he loves to do, taking care of his fury friends.
Thank you to those clients who have already messaged and sent well wishes, we are very humbled.

To all our valued customers and woofers family. Just giving an update incase you all think we may have fallen off the face of the earth 😂
Our time in the last few weeks has been focused on Matt’s health and as most of you know he will be having a full knee replacement in early May, which is both a blessing and a bundle of anxiety and nerves.
But our main priority of late has been trying to reduce pain so we have had to reduce the work load.
We are hoping and keeping our fingers crossed that recovery goes smoothly and we can slowly ease back into washing our beautiful fury friends.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and support and we will notify you all when we know how the recovery is going.

We had the pleasure of collecting Ruby from 2 lovely girls who found her tonight, and we got to take her home.
So happy she is now home safe and sound ❤️

If any of our lovely Woofers family in Esk could keep an eye out for Miss Ruby that would be immensely appreciated.
Unfortunately Ruby escaped this morning around 11.30 and was last seen along the creek near creek street in Esk.
Rubys mum is beside herself and would love to have her little Pug back.

This is so true. Saying goodbye is never easy.

To our two woofers family members who have had to make such hard decisions to let go our their loving puppies, please remember the wonderful life you both gave to your beautiful fur babies.
And know they will be pain free now and waiting for you at the rainbow bridge.
