The love of a spaniel is something special.

Where it started.. My first dog was a cavalier king Charles, Brandy.
Oh what a stubborn girl she was but my gosh she was a big character

From years and years at dog school to get recall she still only listened when she wanted to, but was great at agility 🤷‍♀️
Or running to the car when she decided she had had enough and wanted to go home

Barking when she was "starving" at dinner time

Loved everyone and so gentle

Could also vibrate the walls with her snoring

I then chose cocker spaniels to love and breed but I will never forget my first ever dog

Nutmegs coat nice and full. She is still young so we will see how it changes as she matures (have done minimal work to her coat but it's slowly changing)
It's soft and fluffy and surprisingly easy to keep it knot free

Her lookalike is "Manny" the mammoth off ice age 🤣

Enjoying some warm weather on Friday.Found out Nutmeg comes out for a swim when I had to fetch the ball myself 🤣

Amazing with the kids. Usually just lays around and tolerates what ever comes for her. But she also rolls on the ground/ bed with them, steals toys and take possession of what she can

I like to let the dogs have a run and sit in the sun after a bath (either in the yard or out the front where we get full sun) Meg has the right idea 🤣 This makes them feel good, makes the drying process shorter and get out some zoomies before a blow dry

It's a bit of a mystery what happens under the trampoline sometimes but it means my lawn stays looking healthy everywhere else 🤣 Some zoomies on the freshly cut lawn 👌

Oh Meg! I'm sure you'll get a bit faster with age 🤣🤣 And no this isn't slowed down at all

Nutmeg has found a bit of a voice when she plays, but is very quiet throughout the day It's been colder the last week but we try to enjoy the sun as much we can when we get some

Rosie howling at Lady and the tramp. Does this mean she like it? 🤔🤣

Little fluffs. 5.5 weeks old 🐾

Loving the tunnel! They have learnt from the kids and other dogs going through it. It's just a bit of luck who gets in it first at the moment 🤣🐾
