He has previous experience in a riding school situation where he was regularly used for lessons.
He’s been to pony club, and done plenty of hacking around the farm.
He’s easy on the ground, well mannered and travels happily. He can be cheeky to catch but is always good if you take a bucket!
He is a forward moving so ideally suited as a second or third pony.

Joe is a lovely kind horse, nothing is a hassle for him & he takes everything in his stride. He moves well, is very consistent in his jumping technique, and very brave.
He is a pleasure to take out, he is gentle on the ground. Stands quietly while being saddled, good for the farrier, travels well.
He was incredibly slow as a racehorse, finishing very last in all 3 of his race starts, then retired sound. Hence we nicknamed him “Slow Joe”.
He has been cross country schooling and jumped ditches, water, banks, brushes first time every time. He’s had one competition start where he jumped around 70-80cm classes with ease, it was also his first time indoors.
Joe needs someone who can continue to help him learn his job. He is talented enough for someone seeking a horse for the highest level. He isn’t ready for nervous or inexperienced riders yet, but would suit a capable amateur or junior.
Recently shod and had his teeth done.

Beatrice is a beautifully bred mare by Calibre Royal (IMP Frozen Semen) out of a TB Mare (Lohnro lines).
Beatrice shows all the makings to be a top level event horse or straight jumper. She works in a soft contact, picks both canter leads & moves off the leg.
In her jumping, she is bold, willing & shows a good technique.
Beatrice has been regularly hacked out around the property & is happy to go on her own or with company. She loves going through the dam and isn’t phased by creek crossings, cows, ect.
Beatrice travels well on the truck and float, having had a number of outings now.
She has been cross country schooling twice where she was very willing with all aspects, including through the water & over ditch’s.
She would be best suited to an experienced rider or very capable junior with constant experienced guidance as she is still green and in her first year of being under saddle, I see her being a super junior/ amateurs horse with another 6-12 months under her belt.

Jump day for Good Friday. Wishing all of our clients and supporters a happy Easter holiday, in isolation!! 🌞🐰🍫
Despite being a bit quiet on Facebook, we have actually been rather busy the last few weeks!
This weekend we were at Wandin for the Australian Eventing Champs! I had 5 horses which made for a steady flow of rides over the 3 days!
As always Mr Pig was a super star, highlight definitely being our run around the 3* cross country. He is one of the most amazing horses to cruise around on, feels like a schoolmaster! And just picked up 3 time penalties to finish 13th.
Isle of New Norfolk had a great run in the 2*. She had a little whoopsie in her canter work in her test which was costly but jumped like a machine, giving me an awesome ride cross country, just adding a rail to her dressage score to finish 11th.
Valencia (Louise) is quickly climbing the ranks in stable favourites. Such a lovely 4yo mare that I’m really looking forward to taking up through the levels! She show jumped clear and completed cross country with just 2 stops early in the course before finding her rhythm and giving me a great feel of what she will be in the future!
Dianna earps Artic Ice Dancer was super to add no jumping faults to his dressage score to finish just out of the placings in 9th.
And last but not least Yorkshire Isle was super scoring 71% in dressage, however wasn’t sure about jumping a train at fence 1 on cross country but continued to compete a lovely round!

Kealy Parke- Riding the famous Russell (Boomalacka) in the 80. Russell came to me off the track a few years ago and Kealy has done a great job in the last 18 months continuing his education and is looking very consolidated in Eva80 to finish 6th this weekend!
