Welcome to Doggy Do's & Don'ts, where we unpack all the must-knows when it comes to your dog's wellbeing✨

Although it may be cooling down, Aussie weather means beach days are never far away. If you have a dog who loves a swim, keep in mind the following:

1️⃣ Hydration is a must! Just because they’re in water doesn't mean they can't get dehydrated. Pack fresh water —pool or sea water isn't a dog-friendly beverage.
2️⃣ Aftercare is important. After a good swim, rinse your dog off to remove chlorine, salt, or lake muck. Also dry their ears thoroughly to prevent infections.
3️⃣ Never 'throw' your dog into the water! This can be traumatic and dangerous. Always let your dog enter the water at their own pace. Treats can go a long way _ we recommend our Free-Range Beef Tripe 😋
