The applicant must be capable and confident riding young horses, with a heap of patience and a can do attitude!
Track work licence a bonus.
Can be flexible on days/times with full time hours available.
Great work environment, good rates of pay and accommodation a possibility.

The art of ‘chill’ We have some really lovely off the track horses in at the moment. One of the first and in our opinion, most important things we do in their re-education is to teach them not to have a job at all. They learn a new pace in life. This gives us a blank canvas upon which to commence their ridden work for their lives after racing. All relaxation activities overseen by king of chill, Truey. Once the student, now the master! Watch this space for the first of these horses we’ll be advertising on here over the coming weeks. These 3 geldings by Smart Missile, Dundeel and Crowded House are all currently in work under saddle with us- head shots below.

Alongside racehorses, we take on a number of riding horses from a wide range of disciplines for breaking and further education. We work closely with owners throughout the process to understand their aspirations and how their horses are a part of their lives. This allows us to shape our training programmes- all the while keeping the horse’s capabilities and welfare at the forefront of what we do. From trips to the ice cream shop, traffic training, adult riders and beach trips- there’s never a dull moment!

Bookwork isn’t looking so bad today. How good is Xero📱And a very quiet lead pony!
