Hi CDDC crew! Vron and i are well and enjoying our break and holiday. . It is with much sadness that i inform you that last week Denzel past over to doggy heaven. Unfortunately the big 'C' got him. He was a fan favourite by all who knew him, and has been a super regular part of the CDDC crew since we opened! He will be much missed by all. We loved him! Bye mate! Mick and Vron. Well, we are glad that today is a beautiful day and perfect for a Birthday Party! Leia turned 6 on Friday! Happiness and best wishes to you beautiful girl! (Kylie and Aaron had a fantastic paw print cake made by the K9 bakery, delivered but with bad weather and limited attendees, it was postponed till today! It also just happens to be Moey's birthday today, and Moses birthday last week too, so happiest birthday wishes to you two too! A joyous, fun, and yummy celebration 🍾🍩🍰🎂 was enjoyed by all! Well 1st day back after Easter break and doggos were very excited to be back! Despite the rain, (I'm sure most see it as prime playing conditions!) fun playing with mates, or just hanging out under the shelter, enjoying life! It's a dog's life after all! 😃

Happiest Christmas and Holidays to everyone, especially to all the Calm Doggy Day Care Crew! Thank you to all the regulars, for your part in providing a fantastic atmosphere where fun and games are thoroughly enjoyed by all the pack doggos and supporting CDDC! Best wishes for a super holiday period from Veronica, Grace, Mick, Shadow, Moe, and Frankie!

Our last day for the year will be this Thursday 21st December.

Staff will have a little break and Reopen on Monday 8th January.
Like all the regulars we will be jumping for joy to see everyone then! Woof Woof !🐶

15 years ago today, a very special dog was born, along side his beautiful sisters and brothers. The owner of these puppies was not so happy. Not impressed, a few weeks later the farmer took the puppies into the local veterinary clinic and asked for the puppies to be euthanased. "Why?" asked the Vet nurse, The farmer replied, "they'll be no good. The mum is lazy, and the dad, I think is a big mongrel from up the road." The vet nurse said "I couldn't assist in the euthanasia of these beautiful puppies and offered to take them home with her, where she will try to find happy homes for the unwanted puppies. The farmer agreed and left. I just happened to be helping a family in Seaham with training their dog, and they said "you don't want a Kelpie puppy do you?, as the Vet nurse that lives across the road is trying to find homes for a litter of Kelpie pups!" Solomon my son had been hounding me to get him his own doggy, so I went across the road and had a look. That is where I first layed eyes on the most beautiful boy, to be called 'Shadow'. I took him home to a very excited son. (The vet nurse found happy homes for the others).We have had 15 years of pure joy, love and fun with 'Shads' " You are simply the best bud anyone could ever have in their life, thanks mate!" Hi CDDC friends! Just a reminder to keep the Nextguard or other Flea/Tick protection up to date as well as manual checks as we have found a couple of ticks on dogs recently. Both ticks were bush ticks ( not the dangerous paralysis ticks), but it seems there are a few around, so please take care! K9ind Regards Mick, Vron and Grace.

Hi to all our wonderful doggy and 2 legged friends! Unfortunately, CDDC will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday 19th April), as Mick's Uncle Richard's funeral is on. Trust all the Wednesday regulars will have a funfilled day at home. Look forward to seeing all those happy excited faces and paws on Thursday!

Merry Christmas to all our beautiful Dish Lickers and Tail Waggers (or bum wobblers) and their fantastic 2 legged friends and family! Have a happy holiday break!
Calm Doggy Day Care will close from Friday 23rd (last day Thursday 22nd) to Fri 6th January 2023. (Vron needs extra help in the boarding kennel).
A huge and warm-hearted THANK YOU to all our CDDC regulars for the fantastic support throughout another testing year!

Can't wait to see all our Doggy FUNSTARS back at CDDC in the new year! opening on the 9th of January!

Hi CDDC Crew and friends, well yesterday was the last day that a couple of CDDC favourites (voted by all CDDC regulars and staff) attended CDDC. We all wish Maia and Bee (and Andrew) the very best for the future up in Qld. Thank you for bringing so much joy and happiness to CD Day Care. You two will be very much missed by all your Calm Doggy mates, including Vron, Grace, and Mick. Woof woof to you and enjoy Qld!

Hello doggies and lead holders! Does anybody still remember CDDC?
Well guess what? We will be open tomorrow! Yay! Very lonely wet and miserable last 2 weeks, but it has stopped raining (probs not for long), so let's celebrate the sunshine and get back to the good old super doggy fun at CDDC!

Hi CDDC doggies and Co,
With the unrelenting rainfall, conditions here are not any better unfortunately, and will need a week of dry to be in operation. Apologies for the inconvenience.
As soon as the weather plays its part, we will so happy to open and see all the funsters back running and playing together again!
