💛💛Mahlou Gold💛💛
The time has come to find Louie his very own heart human. His young riders are too busy with work and school and the adults are now underpaid taxi drivers which leaves Louie at home with nothing to do.
Louie is 15.3h, 8 years old. He is a Warmblood, stock-horse x thoroughbred and yes…..🙄 he’s a very pretty colour but he has so much more to offer than that.
Louie has been used as the “old reliable”family horse. Often left for months without work and pulled out of the paddock for mum to go on a trail ride or for the kids to take to pony club. Louie handles intermittent work exceptionally well but has certainly flourished during his time with us having more consistency.
Louie has done miles of trails, was professionally started in his showjumping and is more than happy to pop around 75cm with plenty of scope to go higher, has done a few weeks with a western trainer where he showed a keen interest in cow work and has been ridden at PC up to grade 3.
We are hoping to find Louie a genuine heart human that has an interest in finding true relationship with their horse. Louie is incredibly receptive to gentle, nurturing humans. He is a huge softy that loves attention and affection so finding a best friend that enjoys the same is imperative.
Louie has had a rough start to life and because of this can be a little nervous around people he doesn’t know. Louie can also be tricky to catch until he gets to know you. Once trust has been built Louie catches you!
Louie has been with us for 4 weeks now and in that time we have seen a tremendous change in his demeanour and his personality is beginning to sparkle. He’s quite a funny, slightly cheeky boy, always searching your pockets for treats. Despite Louie’s quirks he always remains incredibly respectful of those around him. Louie has absolutely no dirt at all, 100 percent a lover not a fighter, has never kicked, bucked, bolted, reared or even pig-rooted! He’s great to worm,
🦄🦄CARTIER🦄🦄
“Tia” having a little nap in between classes at this years Top Teams Trophy Showing at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre. This was quite possibly one of the biggest and busiest shows I have ever attended and here was our little princess Tia, under saddle just 3 months, competing against some of the best and taking it all in her stride. We absolutely love this pony! If she was just a couple of hands bigger she would not be for sale!
One month ago Tia attended her first competition, a huge competition at that! Tia competed at TTT dressage (we like to throw them in the deep end). Now at TTT showing and she has a “been there, done that” attitude.
This pony deserves an exceptional home and won’t be sold unless we are 1000 percent sure it’s the perfect match!
🪅“Beaudacity”🪅
Fantastic horse for nervous rider! Beautiful is a tried and tested condfidence booster.
This charming gentleman is ready and open to finding his heart human. Beau is a very attractive TB gelding, 16h and at 5 years old, he seems to have an old soul. Nothing seems to faze Beau. He’s been to many HRCAV shows, dressage competitions, club rallies, clinics and trail rides. Beau has quickly become our “good old reliable” in the stables, often used as a fill in when someone’s horse is injured, or if we need a mount that is “rock solid” when taking young ones out and about.
Beau is always the first to meet you at the gate, great for the farrier, self loads on the float, safe out on trails and has no vices!
Beau is a genuine, fun and safe allrounder that would suit any competent young or adult rider looking to not only give everything a go but who is looking to enjoy it all too!
Are you Beau’s new heart human?

💭🤔REMEMBER 🤔💭
We all got into this because it was supposed to be fun!
Wednesday we were all washed and polished, hi-top boots, white breechers, “sit up straight, shoulders back, heels down”, being judged by someone we have probably never met from inside a car……..
Thursday we throw on the fender, drive down the dirt roads, mount from the back of the Ute, no rules, no expectations. What an incredible gift to have both friends and horses to enjoy all of these incredible moments with!
Turn up the volume! All riders in this video work in the equine industry and have done so for many years! No matter what your journey is, what your discipline is, your age, your ability or your goals, we absolutely MUST remember “THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN and if it’s not…..well……??? You are doing it wrong! 😉
Horses featured are:
OAK-17.1h an absolute sweetheart. Very attractive STB with the ability to join any performance home that has experience with the breed. Oak is very brave on a trail, more than happy to take the lead or hang behind. Oak will be advertised next week so keep your eyes 👀 peeled.
ACE- 15.1h 13yrs, Friesian x Welsh Gelding.
Broken to ride and drive, extremely easy guy to have around. Ace has a genuinely kind soul and will give absolutely anything asked of him a go. We have already thrown so much at him over the past 3 weeks, new riders, jumps, obstacles, 2 different floats, lots of friends, no friends, competitions, trail rides, construction works and I’m sure we will find a few more wierd and wonderful things this week too! Ace will be accepting viewings very soon so definitely keep an eye out for his add.
Cartier (Tia)
Tia is one of the best ponies we have ever had the pleasure of working with! 14h, 6 years old Quarter horse x Welsh, Chestnut, 3 white stockings and a blaze with flaxen mane and tail. Tia is incredibly fun to ride. Very straight forward and forgiving. Tia will be an exceptional allrounder for both perf
🦄 UNICORN PROOF 🦄
We know how much our horses enjoy a nice trail ride. It’s great to get them out of the arena and to experience new adventures together but how many of us can say our horses are “road proof”? We don’t suggest that everyone should go and ride down the middle of the princesses highway but it’s important to know that your horse can handle cars and reasonable traffic. Today “Oak” and “Duncan” headed out for a road ride. Both of these Unicorns will be advertised soon and we want to ensure that they have all the experience necessary to keep their new heart humans safe! Both boys were exceptionally well behaved. They were happy infront leading and happy to chill at the back too. Both boys were more than happy to walk and trot away from the group on their own and returned to the group sensibly. If you are looking for a forever friend to do life with then maybe Duncan or Oak could be “The One”. Keep your eyes 👀 out for more updates soon.
🦄🦄Coming Soon🦄🦄
Are you on the hunt for a genuine best friend?
Lucky will soon be on the lookout for his next adventure.
Clearly a very tolerant boy, lucky just wants to be included!
14.2h, 10 years old. Registered Riding Pony.
Do you have a young rider that just wants to spend hours mucking around, the kind that will climb on, no bridle, no saddle and just “see what happens”. Do you have an interest in trick training? Obstacles, games and cows? Lucky loves to get involved, he is an “in your pocket” kind of guy that thrives off attention and human interaction. Has done many miles trail riding and has been used as a pleasure mount for the past couple of years. Keep your eyes 👀 peeled for more details and for Lucky’s advertisement coming soon.
🦄🦄 UNICORNS ARE COMING🦄🦄
Keep your eyes on our page for your chance to find your heart horse.
We have quite a few exceptionally quiet OTT’s looking for their heart human. They have all been independently handled on the ground and under saddle by confident young riders and Beginner adults. All have been out on trails in big groups, some have already been out to some HRCAV comps. There Temprements have all been rigorously tested now they only thing they need is miles, education and for some, some TLC.
This is a great opportunity to secure a new best friend at a cheaper price. Horses will continue in their education with us until sold and prices will increase to reflect this.
🌟💫STUDENT SHOUTOUT💫🌟
A special mention to my wonderful client Helen Ward who reach a very exciting milestone with her extremely clever rescue “Gina”.
Helen is a very dedicated permanent foster to Gina who has had a very rough start to life. Gina was turned over to Project Hope after being found starved and neglected. Helen and Gina have been building trust and working on foundation ground work and today Gina accepted her very first rider.
Helen has put many many hours into ensuring Gina is given every opportunity to live the best quality of life possible and now with many exciting plans for their future the next faze can begin.
Congratulations Helen Ward for your remarkable win today.
Gypsy is incredibly tolerant to deal with these two peanuts all afternoon!
🚶🏼♀️Walk Your Horses🚶🏼♀️
Today, not unlike most lately I woke up sore and felt like I hadn’t slept in two weeks. I made my way out to my trusty Psychologist/unicorn LaLa knowing that she makes every day better. Turns out she was having a day too! 🤦🏼♀️
She pulled back at the tie ups, hit her head on the roller door, bending it into an unrecognisable shape, slipped on the rubber under foot and fell on her bum. “Deep breath” neither one of us have the skills to deal with this kind of mental state today and come out of it alive so we went for a walk together.
La La and I set out down the driveway and down the quiet dirt roads around home to take in the fresh air, new sights and sounds that the day brings with it. It’s a very different experience walking in hand out on an adventure with your horse, have you noticed?
When we ride our horses we are behind them. They are the leaders. Often nervous or a little insecure. When you walk side by side your horse feels a little more at easy. You are now the leader and they can follow. You are both on foot, experiencing the same things. What a wonderful way to enjoy eachothers company.
Take some responsibility off of your horses backs (litterally” and walk with your horses!
🦄 Sven🦄
“Sven from Sveeden” has impressed us all the past week. He attended Pony Club last Sunday and proved himself to be very sensible and easygoing in an new environment and throughout the week has been used as a lunge line pony to give small humans canter lessons. Sven has a very nice, slow and comfortable canter making him the perfect man for the job. Thank you Sven for being so patient and forgiving unicorn. Your next human is going to be extremely lucky to have you as there best friend.
🦄 Sven Update 🦄
Sven has really enjoyed his return to work after being broken in. He is proving himself to be a super fun allrounder that is really happy to give anything a go. This week alone he has started his jump training with a young JJE rider, he has been giving lunge lessons to a 7 years old beginner and will head out on the Waddle Club trail ride on Sunday. In his spare time Sven enjoys playing with his paddock mates, ripping rugs and playing with almost any object he can find, tonight he found his feed bucket rather amusing! 🤣
Adonis Cruising back into work like……
🦄Adonis Update🦄
A long awaited update. Adonis has finally returned to work this week. I have been nursing an injury forcing this boy out of his job over the last month but this week he has returned to work and in a few short weeks will be accepting viewings.
14 years young, forward moving boy willing to try his hood and just about anything! Will suite a confident, experienced horsey home.
There is no shortage of yummy nutritious grass in the group paddock at JJE! Absolute pony paradise!
This video was the peaceful part of my day, gazing over beautiful caverns spotting for mobs of unhandled horses, the rest was spent hanging on for dear life as we galloped up and down these mountains, in and out of shrubs, dodging trees and low lying branches. Such a world away from any I usually do but when I get the chance I'm in it all the way! So much fun! Second half of the day was spent hanging on even tighter to the back of a quad bike zooming across the same crazy landscape. Yet another encouraging thought........"face your fears, trust in your own abilities and give everything a go" If you never try it, you never know what fun you may be missing out on or what new skills you may gain.
