Just a thought..........
The down sides of molting...

1. No eggs.
2. LOTS of feathers.
3. Eat a lot.
4. Poo a lot.
5. Are difficult, not themselves.
6. They all seem to start molting a week apart.
7. Low fertility rate.

Thankfully it only lasts a month...... or two.
Who finds this annoying? If so say 'I do'.
Please share any other things that you find annoying about molting.
I will add them next time a make a post about molting.. 😉. Thank you. 🙂

Sussex.
3 x 6 week, coronation and light Sussex.
Sturdy, good age for children, can go outside all day, and best of all.......are friendly to people. They will come running when you crouch and will recognise your voice. Breeding stock are friendly, sturdy, pure, good with children and hand raised.

We breed Light Sussex chickens and will be breeding Coronation Sussex chickens starting next year.
