We’ve made some changes to the way we are doing whelping box safety rails. Now a rigid bar with a cap on each end that passes through the actual box. We’ve trialled it with a few breeders and find it’s definitely an improvement.

And while we are talking wheels. We have just introduced into the range a larger pneumatic rubber wheel. We can’t get these as a lock, but they are a swivel. We can offer both a 6” and an 8” option, but it will add weight to the overall trolley. Will be road testing them on a new trolley for Toni soon.

Let’s talk wheels. At Ccrates we use the largest wheel in the medium caster range. Which is a 5” or 125mm wheel. Standard we have two swivel locks. Both of these choices adds weight to the overall trolley but makes them both easy to push and lock off when necessary. The wheels we use are a rubberised wheel.

Umbrella Spikes are now available. We will load on our Web Page soon. $70.00 each, shipping to most places in Australia will be $18.00. For an additional $10.00 we can engrave your prefix or mobile No. on the spike as well. Specs, 90cm long, two 40mm OD tube supports with one hand tightener. Available in stock in French Blue, other colours by negotiation. Price may vary on other colours as we’ve worked with our powder coater to keep the price down on coating.

A few people recently have told me they have ‘Ccrates’ products, but in fact they aren’t. All Ccrates items are labelled, we are now engraving the stainless Steel Poopers as well. Look for the Ccrates logo to be sure it is a genuine Ccrates product.

How many companies get to say, as used by the Military or in this case. This trolley is off to be used by the Australian Border Force, Dog Protector Program. Our Whelping Boxes are used by a number of Police Forces and we’ve just been included in NSW Police Dog Unit Kennel upgrades at Menai.
