Sarge and Eva went for their spa treatment today.

Eva is a good girl and enjoys being pampered.
Sarge is not so fond of it and will do anything to try and get out of it.

Their reward today was a Treat your dog Australia marrow Dental 🦷 Chew.

These are great for helping break down plaque on your dogs teeth. Bonus is they are healthy and not full of nasty fillers and preservatives.

Don’t forget dogs and cats need dental care to.

Did you know dogs get gingivitis same as people. It causes inflammation of their gums which can be quite painful and often ends up leading to teeth needing to be extracted.

Be proactive and prevent the pain and expensive vet trip.

Meet the Team

Hi 👋

I’m Catherine, the owner and founder of Jazzycat Pet Services.

Many of you already know me, but for those that don’t, here is a little bit about me.

I began my Vet Nursing career back in 2015.
I worked in General Practice before moving on to working in Specialty at SASH.
Fortunate enough to work as a Surgical Nurse and a Neurology Nurse. During this time I started Jazzycat. I was initially just doing Jazzycat after my full time job at SASH. I then made the decision to drop to a casual Emergency Nurse, so that I could start giving my full attention to a vision/dream I had which has now become a reality.

I never had intentions of becoming a pet groomer, but I quickly discovered there was a shortage and need in Gawler for this service. I was fortunate enough to meet Jenny Ireland (Owner of Jenny Ireland Pet Products) who saw that I had potential and worked with me to teach me how to groom dogs. Not only that, she provided me with a safe space to do so and helped many of my clients along the way with behavioural issues. To this special lady, I am forever grateful . 💗

Which basically brings us to now.
I could go on and on, but stop by come and say hi and pick my brain anytime.

Over the coming weeks I will try and put together a video and run you through some of the services currently offered and what will be offered in the near future.

I just want to also welcome Mel and Tyler to the Jazzycat Family.
I look forward to what the future holds.

Today was a dog walking day.
We had the usual twosome Ourania and Barnabas the greyhounds.

Then Dennis the Rottweiler, whom is still very much a puppy.
He had a great time sniffing around, then got to experience me retrieving the many rocks and plants he was trying to eat along the way.

First official Vet Nurse consultation in the new premises today.

This is Wally the Sphynx.
Wally is an indoor cat who had a nail trim and an ear clean today.

Wally tends to get a lot of wax build up in his ears.
We had a look to make sure his ear drums were intact and no visible inflammation or signs of infection then gave them a little clean with a special ear cleaner designed to break down the wax so Wally can gently expel it himself when he flicks his ears.

This is Tyler,

Tyler has been in the pet grooming industry for 2yrs and first started out bathing dogs in Melbourne before moving back to Adelaide.

Tyler is quite passionate about grooming and is keen on continuous improvement.

He is always striving to get better with each groom be it styling or learning something new breed specific.
